About the NAD C 245BEE
Clean power for a range of applications
Clean power for a range of applications
This versatile, space-saving amp provides the superior sound and excellent value NAD is known for. Use it to power music zones in your multi-room audio system, bi-amp stereo speakers, or add surround channels to your home theater system.
Handy hook-up options
With three turn-on options (front panel switch, 12V trigger control, or signal-sensing), this amp easily adapts to any type of installation. Multiple C 245BEEs can share the same input signal, giving you the capacity to configure music zones that perfectly suit your listening spaces.
It's all about sound quality
While its versatility sets it apart, the audio performance of C 245BEE is very much in line with the rest of NAD's Classic Series. The power supply features a custom toroidal transformer that minimizes noise and helps to control unwanted speaker cone movement. In the absence of background noise, the subtle details of your music emerge, enriching your listening experience.

Features
Overview: The C 245BEE is a flexible 4-channel amplifier, divided into two discrete 2-channel amps in one chassis (A and B). Each side is individually bridgeable, so it can be used to power four speakers, three speakers, or two speakers.
Discrete Inputs: The A and B channels have separate inputs; both also have Loop Through outputs for connecting another amplifier. The output is identical to the corresponding input.
Auto Turn-on: The C 245BEE can be turned on automatically one of two ways; +12 volt trigger from another component or by sensing an input signal. The automatic function can also be turned off so the amp is turned on/off manually using the front panel switch.
Controls
Rear Panel:
- Bridge Mode: switch between stereo and mono amplifier output; the A and B channels have individual mode switches
- Power: master power switch
- +12V/Input Sensing: choose +12 volt trigger or signal sensing to automatically turn the amp on
Connections
Rear Panel:
- Speakers: the speaker binding posts will accept single banana plugs, pin connectors, spade lugs up to 0.45" wide, and bare wire up to 12 gauge; there are four speaker outputs, A (left and right) and B (left and right)
- Signal Inputs: two sets of stereo RCA inputs, A channels and B channels
- Line Outputs: two sets of stereo RCA inputs, A channels and B channels; output is identical to the corresponding input
- 12 Volt Trigger: 3.5mm jack; turn the amp on/off along with another device that has a +12 volt trigger output
- AC Input: 2-pole IEC power input for use with included cord (or optional upgraded cord)
