Experience room-filling sound with impressive musical detail and transparency. The NAD C 375BEE features a sophisticated design and beefy construction to bring out the best in all your music — from the lowest, wall-shaking pedal notes of a pipe organ to the delicate reverberation of a solo acoustic guitar. This integrated amp delivers 150 full-bandwidth-rated watts to each of your stereo speakers for powerful, undistorted sound, even during your music's most demanding passages.

Advanced technology for stunning sound

The C 375BEE employs many of the same high-end features found on NAD's top-of-the-line Masters Series components, including NAD's exclusive PowerDrive™ technology. This unique circuit automatically senses your speaker's impedance, then optimizes the amp's power supply settings to deliver the most dynamic power possible. This allows it to easily drive low-impedance loads, including many of today's high-end speakers, which often run closer to four ohms than eight. Plus, a patented distortion canceling circuit in the amp's output stage ensures your music stays clean and pure.

A strong, vibration-resistant build

Along with all of its advanced technology, NAD gave the C 375BEE a big helping of good old-fashioned construction quality. This integrated amplifier boasts a heavy-gauge steel chassis for added durability and vibration resistance. Its power supply, the heart of any amplifier, utilizes an interference-canceling toroidal transformer and heavy copper buss bars to channel enormous amounts of current to the custom gold-plated speaker binding posts. Additional premium-quality internal components — such as four pairs of discrete high-wattage output transistors per channel — allow the C 375BEE to handle prolonged high-power operation effortlessly.

Connections and convenience

This integrated amp offers enough inputs to connect seven audio components. Its modular design even allows turntable owners to install an optional NAD phono module for listening to vinyl. (Or, connect NAD's outboard PP3 phono preamp.) Two sets of main speaker outputs provide hookups for an additional pair of speakers. Separate preamp input/line-level output jacks let you use the C 375BEE as an independent power amplifier or preamp for future system expansion, or to easily add a powered subwoofer. And the included remote gives you easy control of the amplifier and the other NAD audio components in your system.

Soft Clipping: NAD's Soft Clipping circuit gently limits the output of the C 375BEE to minimize audible distortion when the amplifier is over-driven. While Soft Clipping can be left on at all times to reduce the likelihood of audible distortion from excessive volume settings, you can also turn the circuit off for critical listening if you prefer.

Bridgeable: The C 375BEE can be bridged to a single channel, more than doubling the power output. When bridged, the minimum recommended speaker impedance is 8Ω.

Tape Monitor: If you own a 3-head tape deck, the tape monitor loop allows you to monitor recording quality as the recording is made.

Phono Input: From the factory the C 375BEE has no phono input, but the optional PP 375 Phono Module can be installed, creating an input that will accept moving magnet or moving coil cartridges.

Front Input: A 3.5mm mini-jack input on the front panel is labeled MP (Media Player); there is also an RCA MP input on to rear panel which is automatically disconnected when the front panel input is used.

Pre-out/Main-in Loop: Factory jumpers connect the main amplifier input to the Pre Out 1 preamp outputs. This offers the flexibility of inserting an equalizer, surround processor (when using multiple amps), or another type of processor between the two stages.

Dual Preamp Outputs: The second set of preamps are convenient for bi-amping speakers or adding a powered subwoofer.

Remote Control: The SR 8 wireless remote will control the C 375BEE and NAD CD players and Tuners.

Q
Can this amp be connected to a computer?

A
YES, the only input I am using with this NAD amp is from a ASUS PCI-Express x1 XONAR ESSENCE STX/90 soundcard I installed in a Dell PC. It works excellent.
terry k  Sep 01, 2016
A
Yes. I use it for hi res music but you must purchase the DAC module.
gregory  Sep 01, 2016
A
Yes... If you order the unit with the optional DAC module installed. You need the DAC... I opted for another manufacturer's external DAC component. That component has usb and tos-link interfaces with which to connect to your computer. It's pretty straightforward. Good luck
michael  Sep 01, 2016
A
NAD makes a add-on module, the MDC DAC 2, which can be installed in the back of the amplifier (you should have this done by the dealer at time of purchase). This module has a digital to analog converter and USB & optical digital inputs for connection directly to a computer. If you already have a DAC (such as a Dragonfly), you can run the output of that into one of the 7 line inputs on the amp.

Q
I want to run the sound from my toshiba 27in tv thru my NAD amp. The TV has a digital optical port for this, not the amp or pre amp. what can I do?

A
You will need a digital to analog converter (DAC) that can change your optical digital signals into RCA analog signals.
chih  May 17, 2016
A
You are going to need a DAC. Most digital-analogue converter (DAC) have one or two optical ports (also known as optical drive or toslink). Plug the DAC, which you can also have your computer devices connected to, to the AUX analogue input (red and white RCA). I personally have the Cambridge DacMagicPlus....But, there are other brands out there just as good and slightly cheaper. After doing this type of connection, you will notice a superior sound coming out of your NAD.

Q
How is this amp different in that it puts out the same power into 4 and 8 ohm loads? It seems like it limits the current output regardless of the nominal impedance. I have a pair of vintage Magnat Deltas and have always run them through either Bryston or Perreaux amps, which I was confident could handle these demanding speakers. What makes this amp unique in the way it addresses low impedance loads?

Dave I am afraid to say your question is way to technical to for me. I have a pair of Polk Tower RTiA7 speakers on Ch A, pair of Polk LSiM703 bookshelf spkrs on Ch B and a Polk DSW Pro660wi subwoofer. My system is in a raised center heighth barn 30ft x 40ft, 25 ft. high ceiling in the center. The sound is incredible, 60s 70s rock, jazz and blues. CDs Ipod and siruis XM feed the NAD.
frank  Apr 21, 2016
A
Not sure where you read that it put out the same power reguardless of load, but according to the NAD website it puts out 250, 410, and 600 watts of dynamic power at 8,4 and 2 ohms. All l can say is that I have a set or referbished Polk SDA 1b speakers that run about 2-4 ohms and the 375 will drive them to ear bleed levels. Even the little 326bee drives these low impedance loads very well. I'm very happy with both my NAD amps.
david  Apr 20, 2016
A
It did not like my formula: I in amps (A) is equal to the square root of the power P in watts (W), divided by the resistance R in ohms (?)
robert  Apr 18, 2016
A
Not exactly sure but from what I understand if you run it at 4ohms speakers on an 8 ohm setting it will heat up the amp and that would apply if you mixed speakers of different resistances as electricity follows the path of least resistance. I believe it protects the amp form overheating and tripping an overheat, think of it as water the amps equals (flow) and is just a formula I (A) = ?P (W) / R (?)

Q
Is there a subwoofer output?
gordon  Mar 17, 2016
4 answers
A
Yes,,,,,You have to use the pre-outs....You will noticed that it came with a circuit breaker or a bridge-like piece connected to it.....You have to remove it (but don't throw it away). If the subwoofer uses one cable, you will need a Y-RCA cable adaptor to connect on the NAD. If the subwoofer also uses RCA cable connectors, get a Y-RCA adaptor as well for it. But, you can easily figure out which is the best connection to go with. I am using two cables one for the red and another for the white RCA input on my NAD and Klipsch subwoofer. As I mentioned before, you will see pre-out 1 and pre-out 2

I checked the manual and there does not appear be a specific output listed for subwoofers. There are 2 sets out speaker outlets but do not know if this would work. I use a Bose system and the subwoofer and speakers are integrated as a "unit" requiring only the 2 (left and right) speakers be plugged in and the subwoofer works with them that way. I hope this helps.
benjamin t  Mar 20, 2016
A
There is not a dedicated sub output. I assume you are talking about a pre-amp level out to the sub. I run this amp with another power amp to another set of full range speakers so that takes the extra preamp output. I also run two powered subwoofers by splitting the output that goes to the built in amp of this unit. I send the each channel of the main pre-out to a splitterand one side of each splitter goes back into the Nad Amp and the other side goes to each subwoofer amp. This works just fine and allows me to balance the ouput to the second full range amp while running the subs. If you do not need to use the second amp output you could easily run your subwoofer off of the second pre-amp outputs.

Q
Can I hookup two sets of 4 ohms speakers to the NAD375BEE and use both pairs of speakers simultaneously or is the effective 2 ohm load too much for the amp?
gbuozis  Dec 08, 2015
1 answer
A
It cannot power both sets of those 4 ohm speakers at the same time. 8 ohm speakers are needed to do that.

Q
will this amp work with my str-dn1050 sony? ty mark

A
The NAD 375 is far superior to that Sony. Stay with the NAD, but get a DAC
cristian  May 17, 2016
A
After looking at the specs for your Sony 1050, I find it has two channel stereo line level outputs, and should work with the 375. But if you want the best performance from your 375, you'll want to use it in a stand alone two channel stereo system. I own a 375 and it's a phenomenal sounding stereo amp for music. Either way, you'll need separate speakers for your 375, and it sounds best with modern higher end models, and likes 4 ohm loads, to really come alive.
