Features
Overview: The Geneva Sound System Model S is a stereo clock radio with
iPod/iPhone dock, crafted in a single cabinet made out of piano lacquered
(high-density composite fiber). Its compact size and amazing sound performance
makes it a very versatile system that can play all genres of music very well in
any room; such as your living-room, dining-room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom,
office, or den.
Lacquer Cabinet: The Geneva Sound System Model S features a
high-density composite fiber cabinet with a piano lacquered finish. Its
available in white, black, or red finishes
LED Display: The Model S has a LED display (red) visible under the
front cover showing clock, audio input, and control settings
High Fidelity Sound: The Geneva Sound System Model S offers high
fidelity 2-channel sound with digital signal processor, bass enhancement, and
EmbracingSound to enhance compressed audio.
- Digital Amplifier: The Model S is equipped with a 15-watt x
2-channel digital amplifier. The unit's powerful amplifier is award winning
for energy efficiency.
- Dual Speakers: Underneath the front grill there are two
independent speakers right next to each other, with separate acoustic
chambers and separate 3" full-range drivers.
- EmbracingSound: By using the patent pending "Embracing Sound"
Technology, the stereo sweet spot is larger than in a conventional
two-speaker setup.
- Bass & Treble Control: You can independently adjust the unit's
bass (100 Hz) and treble (6 kHz) from -6 to +6 dB.
iPod PowerDock: The Geneva Sound System Model S features an
integrated, top-mounted iPod Universal Dock for iPod and iPhone. The integrated
iPod dock is powered and disappears when not in use. When the iPod/iPhone is
removed, the motorized PowerDock spins closed and the protruding iPod/iPhone
30-pin connector disappears into the cabinet, protecting it from damage and dust
(press the mode button to open the dock). The Model S provides playback,
control, and charging of your iPod/iPhone while docked. Your iPod or iPhone can
be controlled with the included remote or with the unit's touch-sensitive
buttons. The touch panel also offers a scroll wheel, so your connected iPod can
be browsed similar to using the iPod's click-wheel. The Model S is "Made for
iPod/iPhone compatible" and supports the following iPod/iPhone model functions
(April 2010).

Note: This unit does not offer iPod/iPhone
information display. Your docked iPod or iPhone will remain
fully functional so you can view your iPod or iPhone content
from its own display screen. Apple iPod/iPhone software updates
may change functionality results. If you download a newer
software version, you may need to reset the device and your
iPod/iPhone to regain functionality. If this doesn't work, you
may need to revert to the older software version or wait until
an newer software update is available.
FM Radio: The Geneva Sound System Model S is equipped with a built-in
FM radio with digital tuner and 6 presets. The unit features a telescoping FM
antenna.
Note: This unit features a PAL antenna input. You will
need the Geneva Antenna adapter (761ANTADP, sold separately) to connect
another manufacture's antenna.
Auxiliary Input: The unit features a rear-panel 3.5mm auxiliary input
for connecting external audio sources, such as an MP3 player or your PC.
Note: If an iPod is docked and playing, the iPod sound and the
auxiliary input's external audio will be mixed.
TouchLight Controls: The unit's TouchLight controls are invisible
until a hand reaches for the cabinet.
Remote Control: The Geneva Sound System Model S includes an IR remote
control for wireless operation of the unit. It will control all functions of the
system, including iPod/iPhone control.
Alarm Clock: The Geneva Sound System Model S features a built-in clock
with programmable alarm. The alarm will use the latest source mode and audio
setting (if the audio level is too low, an internal beep tone is activated).
While the alarm is active, touch whatever key of the touch panel to "snooze" the
alarm for ten minutes. To acknowledge the alarm push any key on the remote
control. Without acknowledgement, the unit will automatically go to stand-by
mode after playing for 20 minutes.
Note: The unit can bridge a power loss for up to one hour and keep
the exact time, and in case of no audio source, a built-in beeper will be
activated.
Table-Top Stand: This Geneva Sound System Model S comes with rubber
feet and an aluminum table stand. The table stand, allows you to elevate the
system, so it takes up less space on a nightstand, a counter, or a desk. The
table-top stand measures 6.9375" in diameter and raises the height of the unit
to 8.625".
Power Supply: The Geneva Sound System Model S operates off of standard
household AC current using the supplied 6' AC power cord.
