Exceptional shooting bag

Written By RTinVA, Crozet, VA on Wednesday, June 11, 2014

This bag is ideal as a walkaround shooting bag. Extraordinary build quality, as is expected from Lowepro, but not obviously a camera bag. It looks like a standard messenger bag.

Pros: Great for street photography, or just to have a subset of gear to always have with you.

Cons: A little heavy but not unduly so.

nice product but a little limited

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

From a quality standpoint, solid 5-star. Very well made bag that does not scream "expensive camera inside, please steal me!" Just looks like a fat messenger bag. REALLY wanted to use this bag; its solid construction and low-key appearance were very appealing, but it is limited, as noted in Crutchfield's description. It will take a full-frame DSLR with grip/extended battery pack and a good sized lens attached, plus a second largish lens, and a flash or something equivalent in size. That's really it. It does have a front pouch with limited room for memory cards, lens fliter pack, or similar thin or small items but if you need more room than that, tough. For many that will be enough room but for my wife's outdoor photography activities more room was needed. A Lowepro Backpack unit ended up filling her needs for a camera bag that also had room for travel/location shoot essentials.

Pros: Low-profile, great quality bag that works well as long as used within its size limitations.

Cons: Space is exactly as noted, no more. DSLR camera with grip and lens attached, extra lens, good sized flash, and a small assortment of thin or low-volume accessories. That's really it without compromising each item's protection.
