The compact iP56 powered speaker system is almost as portable as your iPod or iPhone, so you can enjoy great sound from your player just about anywhere. The system features a fold-out stand and retractable dock that lets you set it up in seconds.

If this doesn't work, you may need to revert to the older software version or wait until an newer software update is available. Not compatible with iOS 4.0 update for iPhone and iPod touch.
iPod/iPhone Charging: The iHome iP56 will charge your docked iPod/iPhone via AC or battery power. The iP56 will stop charging once your iPod or iPhone is completely charged.
Note: If your iPod/iPhone has no initial battery charge, then this unit will not recognize it.
Auxiliary Input: The iHome iP56 is equipped with a rear-panel 3.5mm auxiliary input for connecting an external audio source such as your MP3 player or laptop.
Rechargeable Battery: The iHome iP56 has an internal rechargeable lithium ion battery which can last up to 10 hours. The battery condition indicator is located on top of the unit. When fully charged, the indicator will glow steadily. When the battery needs charging, the indicator will flash. To charge the internal battery, connect the iP56 to an AC power outlet.
Note: The iP56 uses an internal lithium-ion battery that may be recharged hundreds of times and should last the lifetime of the device. The rechargeable battery is also recyclable.
AC Power: The iHome iP56 also operates off of standard household AC current using the supplied AC power adapter (100-240V).
Carrying Case: The iHome iP56 includes a carrying case for storage and transport. The unit features foldaway feet to make it more compact so it can fit into the case.
