Sound Ordnance's rugged Bass Bunker enclosures come built to last and ready to help your sub deliver real low-frequency firepower. These unloaded boxes feature high-grade, medium-density fiberboard construction, with sealed inner braces that help combat resonance by reducing vibrations. Rounded outside corners and recessed panels allow them to fit into more vehicles, while tough black carpeting defends against incoming nicks and scratches. Bass Bunkers make a great solution when building your own box is not an option.
The BB10-125V ported enclosure holds one 10" subwoofer and offers an internal volume of 1.47 cubic feet. Its large vents feature rounded inner corners that keep port noise to a minimum for more accurate response. Just add the right sub, amp, and wiring, then mount the enclosure securely, and you're ready to hit the road with some real bass artillery in your arsenal.
Warning: This enclosure does not include mounting hardware. If you're buying a sub from us, please check "What's in the Box?" to see if screws are included. If not, you should have an assortment of heavy-duty wood screws on hand for the installation.
An enclosure is simply the box that houses your sub; sealed and ported enclosures are the most popular types. A sealed enclosure is usually smaller in size, sacrificing a little volume level to deliver more accurate bass. The ported enclosure features a vent which allows bass waves to escape from behind the mounted sub, augmenting the bass coming off the front of the sub. Ported boxes are louder, bigger, and a little less accurate. Every sub works best in the size and type of enclosure that's recommended by the manufacturer, so make sure you match your sub with the right box.
Perfect size very well built im very pleased in my purchase
Pros: All together good box
It's exactly the kind of big I looked for and my subwoofer, infinity kappa 100.9 w rocks in this enclosure. Good quality product.
Pros: Good quality product. Well built enclosure.
Cons: I didn't see any issues with this enclosure. So NO CONS
Great box, great build quality. Would be nice if it was tuned a bit lower.
Pros: Strong build. Compact.
Cons: High tuning. Had to widen hole for my 10.
Purchased this box for my 94 toyota pickup extended cab along with a 10" Kicker Comp VR. Easy to install. Good tight bass.
Good quality built dual ported box. Solid, strong, and sealed. Bought this to replace a smaller sealed box I was using for a Kicker CompR. I was having a difficult time finding an enclosure that had enough cu ft that didn't take up my whole storage area and didn't break the bank. I generally lean towards sealed enclosures as I prefer a more tight bass response. At the same time, I wanted to get a little more boom from the sub so I figured I'd give it a try. I am more than pleasantly surprised at how well this box was able to accurately produce clean bass notes which cover a wide range. Responds well in all music genres. Ulitmately I ended up pairing this with a sealed enclosure as well. My system sounds fantastic. If I had known up front how great this box was going to sound, I would have just ordered a 2nd one of these and skipped the sealed box all together. Great work Sound Ordnance and great service to Crutchfield.
Pros: Quality build, nice appearance, for the size doesn't take up an excessive amount of floor space, accurate bass response
Cons: Wish I had bought 2
Nice box, well made.
Pros: Solid construction.
I spent a lot of time researching and looking for the right enclosure for my sub. It was difficult to find one with enough air space for arreasonable price. This one fit the bill perfectly. The price and quality were both what I was looking for. Also it was delivered in 2 days. I am a repeat customer and this was another great buying experience.
Pros: Sound quality, price, durability
It a quality fabricated box, perfect fitment for the 10" Alpine Type R I put into it, and a nice volume at 1.5 cu ft. It's made from quality materials, is nicely carpeted, and has large speaker terminals (I have 10ga speaker wire running from the amp to speaker terminals and it fit like a glove).
Pros: Quality, durable, appropriately described on Crutchfield, and a solid box for the price.
Cons: Internal speaker wire is soldered so replacing it with larger gauge wire is a little hassle.
This box accepted the Polk bass like a silk glove fits on a lady's hand. Easy to install, looks great and built to last. I wont need another set of boxes for a very long time.
Pros: Quality product that is built well
I bought this box to replace a several year old box that was beginning to split around the subwoofer mount and was a bit big for the new subwoofer that i had purchased. To start off I am running a single 10" Rockford Fosgate Punch P2 subwoofer with a Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-1 300W amplifier. I purchased this box because it was the ideal size for a vented box for the P2 subwoofer att around 1.39 cubic feet (subwoofer mounted and displacement subtracted). The box is well made, with good speaker wire pre-installed in the box (soldered to the posts of the terminal cup), it was easy to hook up and mount the subwoofer as I had actually drilled pilot holes for the screws to screw into which made mounting a bit easier. Now, sound quality: I'm pretty much an audiophile when it comes to my music, this box produces a loud, clean bass with little to no port noise. I was skeptical at first about having to ports on the box, but it turns out it sounds fantastic. As to the looks of the box it is wrapped in high quality carpet with the only thing being that the enclosure i received is more of a black color rather than the grey color shown on the website. This is perfectly okay for me because i personally like the look of the black in my car a lot better.
Pros: Sounds great Ideal size Sturdy, High quality build/design Low Port Noise Good looking design High quality presoldered speaker wire High quality gold push terminals (rear mounted)
Cons: In the photo on the website it looks as if the inner joints of the box are caulked; however, the one i received looks to be sealed with a clear sealant (wood glue?) It doesn't make any difference really as the box is sealed at the joints real well (I know because my previous box was actually drilled into and didn't sound good at all).
Got this box to replace the one I got when I bought the vehicle. Actually it replaced 2. This box lets me run one 10 instead of two and hits twice as hard.
Pros: Sounds great
Cons: If you have a Jeep like me, the backseat has to go. Who needs backseat drivers?
I have two of these boxes running two alpine type r 10's. They have superior sound quality to previous boxes I have owned. These are the perfect buy for someone who wants quality mixed with quantity! Very impressed.
This box is solid and matched with a 10"JL you cant go wrong. This box is well made.

I needed a good box [ Grunt Feb 10, 2016 ]
fits the air space needed for my sub [ joseph Jan 24, 2016 ]
Its the largest pre-fab ported box I could find for a 10" driver. Really wanted about 1.75 cu/ft but didn't have time to build my own so I'll give this a try. If its too small then I'll order up the 1.8 cu/ft 12" box and make time to router out a 10" to 12" speaker adapter ring. [ Sean Dec 13, 2015 ]
