For proper performance Rockford's ACCEPTABLE sealed enclosure internal volume in cubic feet is 0.50 to 0.85. For nearly perfect sub performance Rockford's OPTIMUM cu. ft. is 0.59. This boxes internal volume is 0.69 cu. ft. When we deduct the sub's displacement of .088 cu. ft. we have a total empty usable interior volume of 0.602 cu. ft. PERFECT! You could not get any closer to the OPTIMUM interior volume of 0.59 cu. ft. if you tried. Always read your sub specifications and remember to deduct the subs displacement.
