Dominic DeVito
Sound Ordnance's rugged Bass Bunker enclosures come built to last and ready to help your sub deliver real low-frequency firepower. These unloaded boxes feature high-grade, medium-density fiberboard construction, with sealed inner braces that help combat resonance by reducing vibrations. Rounded outside corners and recessed panels allow them to fit into more vehicles, while tough black carpeting defends against incoming nicks and scratches. Bass Bunkers make a great solution when building your own box is not an option.

The BB10-75V ported enclosure holds one 10" subwoofer and offers an internal volume of 0.87 cubic feet. Its large vents feature rounded inner corners that keep port noise to a minimum for more accurate response. Just add the right sub, amp, and wiring, then mount the enclosure securely, and you're ready to hit the road with some real bass artillery in your arsenal.

Warning: This enclosure does not include mounting hardware. If you're buying a sub from us, please check "What's in the Box?" to see if screws are included. If not, you should have an assortment of heavy-duty wood screws on hand for the installation.

I have a 10" alpine type r dvc 4ohm (wired down to 2ohm matched with an Alpine PDX-M6 amp. I saw this ported box and a larger one that is supposedly tuned lower to ~35hz on the crutchfield site. My question is which would be best for my sub and amp application in my 2020 civic si sedan? Is it worth the loss of trunk space for the bigger box? Or will the smaller box and polyfill do the same? Thanks in advance!

I would go for a bigger box than this one, I had bought this one, but I'm looking into getting two subs, this box was a great buy for my first buy

I don't think it's Worth it to give up the trunk space with a bigger box. I purchased the one you were looking at and I have it in my 2018 Camry XSE it gives very good bass really think you'll enjoy it.

In theory it would work but it won't sound as good as it could. You would have to stuff so much it could interfere with the woofer. Also those boxes play higher around 40hz. So it will be loud but won't play all the frequencies the sub can play.

Thats crazy. I have the same 10inch sub powered by NVX amp pushing 820 watts 2 ohms. Coming from a box designed for a 12 in and retrofitted to a 10. The new box is way better more clean and crisp. And the lows sound really good it's blends with my factory system very nicely.

If your sub cause for a small enclosure, well this is the box for you. It's practical and doesn't take up a lot of space.

Q
Will a 10inch JLW6v2-D4 work well with this ported enclosure without having adverse effects on the subwoofer itself?

A
I forwarded your question to an Advisor and they responded with the following: This box is a close enough match that it will not noticeably hurt the performance of the JL Audio 10W6v2-D4 subwoofer. If you would like to discuss further you can contact an Advisor directly by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat.
