About the Sound Ordnance™ Bass Bunker

Dominic DeVito
Sound Ordnance's rugged Bass Bunker enclosures come built to last and ready to help your sub deliver real low-frequency firepower. These unloaded boxes feature high-grade, medium-density fiberboard construction, with sealed inner braces that help combat resonance by reducing vibrations. Rounded outside corners and recessed panels allow them to fit into more vehicles, while tough black carpeting defends against incoming nicks and scratches. Bass Bunkers make a great solution when building your own box is not an option.

Q
Will a Memphis m6 12" sub fit the sound ordance empty 12" box?
trey cherry  Aug 07, 2018
1 answer
A
That subwoofer sure will fit into this box! I'd recommend adding around a quarter pound of polyester box stuffing inside it to get the box to work like it has the perfect sealed box volume. Here is this box stuffing: www.crutchfield.com/p_027808/item.html My Bio: http://www.crutchfield.com/Support/Bio.aspx?bio=101

Q
Can I modify this box for a square sub?
robert  Jul 07, 2018
1 answer
A
Yes you can modify almost anything but I would recommend a purchase of a specific application. Why try to experiment and play with the unknown. Crutchfeild has a large assortment of boxes to chose from. I would ask one of thier experts.

Q
Is the speaker hole on the slanted side, or on the straight vertical side?

It is on the straight vertical side.

Q
Will this box fit an Alpine SWR12D2 to specs?
marcos  Oct 22, 2017
2 answers
A
This box will not suit an Alpine SWR-12D2, the cut out diameter for the sub is 10-7/8th while the enclosure has a diameter of 11-1/16th as well the optimal space for the sun is 0.75 cubic feet maxing at 1 cubic feet, this enclosure has 1.27 cubic feet. A perfect pair would be a Rockford Fosgate P3-D2.
chris  Oct 22, 2017
A
I have no clue. Try calling Crutchfield tech line. I loaded mine with a focal sub.
juvan  Oct 22, 2017
Q
can this 1.27 cuft. box will work great for a Rockford Fosgate P1S4-12?
edrick  Sep 21, 2016
1 answer
A
I would not recommend it. That box is really far away from the recommended specifications for the subwoofer that while it would play, it will not play like it should. This box will work a lot better with the Rockford Fosgate subwoofer: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_777BB1220V/item.html Feel free to call an advisor on 1-800-324-9695 for a personal recommendation.
