Q
Does this box fit under back seat ? 2015 f150 platinum crew cab?
paul  Feb 10, 2019
4 answers
A
No it does not.
anthony  Feb 10, 2019
A
This box is huge. I don't have an f-150 but there's no way this box would fit under any seat in any truck. You will probably have to have a custom box made or find a box specifically made for your truck.
luis  Feb 10, 2019
A
We installed this box in the back of a Honda Accord and it barely fit. I seriously doubt that it can fit under a seat of an F 150. You might need to go with a different one unfortunately
ricardo  Feb 10, 2019
A
No I don't believe it will it's a big square box there would have to be a lot of room in front of that back seat I have a Ford Expedition and it takes up half the back we can't even use the third row seating we have to lay it down we had it in a gmc Sierra truck and it wouldn't go up under the seat of that either it took up Mercy back only one person could ride back there with it

Q
Can two qpower 12inch subs fit in the box perfectly?
brandon  Sep 17, 2018
2 answers
A
Perfectly? That is a broad question that neglects individual perceptions. However, the box is made to be universal and will likely be able to House any two 12" subs a person may want to mount in it. Can't specifically answer your question as it was asked but It is well built, looks good, and sounds good although the volume is a little on the smaller side meaning the sound reproduced will likely be tighter/cleaner or punchier; i.e. good for faster paced rock, pop, or country. But may not be best suited for slower paced rap or reggae beats.
donovan  Sep 18, 2018

Yeah it should I got pioneer Pros in mine works fine and sounds really good deep bass

Q
is this box recommended for Alpine R-W12D2?
solomon  Jul 16, 2018
1 answer
A
The recommended ported box volume for the Alpine R-W12D2 ranges from 1.33 cubic feet to 1.83 cubic feet; so the Bass Bunker enclosure at 1.61 cu. ft. per chamber should work well. For more details or to discuss further, please contact an Advisor directly by phone (888.955.6000) or online chat. Thanks!

Q
Will this work with two Boss Cxx12's?
notmy  Jun 14, 2018
1 answer
A
Your subs require 1.8 cuft. enclosure, this enclosure is 1.61 cuft. per chamber so it'll be a bit small for your subs. You'll lose some performance, deep low end bass but it'll will work. Probably never notice
wayne  Jun 15, 2018

Don't know ,but with two pioneer woofers installed it's really heavy.

juan jimenez  Jun 05, 2018

You should be ok. The box is constructed extremely well. I have two 18 yr old mtx comp subs that blew apart the original box they were in. Threw them into this box and they hit like brand new again. For the money you could not build a better box.
john  Jun 05, 2018
A
I'm not an SPL kinda user. I'm more into SQ. This box is being used by my son driving 2 12" Kickers. I suggest looking into your subwoofer space requirements for best results. This box is well built however.
ricardo  Jun 04, 2018
A
Probably blow it apart. Have a box built for them. It'll be worth it.

my subs recomend a ported box volume of 2-3 cubic feet. how would that effect the sound seeing that this box is only 1.6 cubic feet?

marcele  Mar 29, 2017

I have two old green dual voice coil Infinity Kappa 12's in this box and it makes tons of bass. These speakers are twenty years old or so and I am having a hard time finding their space needs and I'm not a sub guru, but I would guess you could get by with less room if your box is ported like this one is. Mine are wired in parallel as a one ohm load on a 20 year old Lanzar Vibe 400 watt amp and I had to turn it the amp way down to keep from hurting my head. Granted, all of that is installed in a hatchback so I'm sitting in the same room with them and I am loving it!
dustin  Mar 27, 2017
A
1.6 isnt that far off from 2 and this box made my subs hit so much harder than any other box ive tried the quality and clarity of this box is amazing

Q
Does the box need some sort of batting or does it need to be lined with something? Or do I just install the subs and because it's ported it will be fine & won't rattle?
noah  Oct 07, 2016
2 answers
A
You don't have to do anything to it. It won't rattle. You can put a pillow in each side to muffle it a tad; two 12s in a ported box in a small space tends to overpower the rest of the music
mike  Oct 09, 2016
A
Filler makes the sub "think" its in a larger enclosure than it really is. Just remember, these boxes will NOT give you the best performance from your subwoofer. They do however, work well enough for most people. No rattles with my enclosure either.

Q
Will this box fix a 2002 honda civic lx?
james  Oct 06, 2016
2 answers
A
Yes it will I have a 97 honda accord and it's a great fit.
joseph andrew  Oct 07, 2016
A
It should fit no problem, it's a fairly small enclosure and you should have no problem getting it through the trunk gate. In the event it doesn't the backseat in a Honda Civic comes out very easily and you could go through the back seat into the trunk. But I seriously doubt you will need to do this. I bought this enclosure for someone else to do an install so I can't speak to how good the box really is but for the price point I suppose you can't really go wrong. I always prefer to build my ported enclosures around the specific subwoofer and achieve an optimal tuning whenever possible.

A
I bought this box for my 2 12" Alpine type R subs. They fit perfectly and worked very well with my Pioneer GM-D9601 amp. The amp pushes 1200 Watts RMS at 1 ohm, although I am currently running it at 2 ohms and receiving 800 Watts RMS. This would be plenty of power for your subs and I highly recommend getting this box and that amp.
austin  Mar 05, 2016
A
I have two 12" me woods in this same box with a 1000 watt cheap amp and it sounds amazing! For the price of the box it is a really great deal. Not regretting at all the buy.

I have a similar setup and found that I could not be more happier with my decision. The subs are still tight and the sound is great with all types of music.
lorenzo  Mar 05, 2016
A
I have this box in a 2014 Ford Focus hatchback with two Infinity Kappa 12" subs and a 400 watt amp in a one ohm load. The sound I get out of this too much really, but it fits into the hatch very well. I do not know much about the Mazda 3 but I would guess that the biggest issue would be the mouth of the trunk. If your car is a hatchback I wouldn't think this box would be an issue. If you are just worried about the sound, this box puts out! Just do not cover the two triangular ports and you'll shaking the mirror off of the windshield in no time.
dustin  Feb 29, 2016
A
If you mean an Alpine Type R- it is a little bigger then recomended. If you mean a Kicker CompR then its alittle smaller then recommended. Either way these subs will both put out a good sound. May not be the absolute best they could have but i think youll be satisfied with this enclosure. i had 2 boss 12s and 2 sundown 12s in this and i was pretty happy. no leaks or issues at all.
nicolas  Feb 29, 2016
A
I bought this enclosure. Decent quality. Unfortunately, the port dimensions are not right for the type R. I would recommend having one built or look on flee bay to find a correct enclosure for these subs. They ARE picky about what enclosure they are in.

Yes, just depends on the speakers ya got to what's passing them and how loud.
jasperw  Mar 06, 2015
A
Ported boxes in general produce lower, due to less restrictions of the sub verses a sealed box, also the sub takes less power to sound good verses needing more power for sealed box. But you still need to properly match the sub to the enclosure also. Rule of thumb is to at least have a amp that will put out a minium of 3/4 of the subs RMS WATTS, it is better to over power a sub then to under power one, under powering a sub can possibly damage a sub.
ricky aaron  Mar 06, 2015
A
Josh, great question. I bought this box last year and love it. It is fairly large, and the cubic space matches most sub requirements for a ported box. I currently run two JL w3v3 svc 12" subs, wired at two ohms with a jbl gto mono class D amp In my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. It pounds with punch and with great lows. You can hear me coming from at least mile away in rural area. If you want people to hear coming from farther away, it's going to be the subs and amp that you choose, not so much the box. You just want to make sure the box (cubic space) meets your sub requirements for a ported setup. Hope this helps. Justin
matthew j  Mar 06, 2015
A
It's all relevant to what subs and how many watts your running, this is definitely a great box and it made my subs hit hard and low. I would definitely recommend this box especially for the price.

I have it in my 1999 BMW 528i, and it perfectly fits all the way to the back. Just go out with a tape measure and match the specs, give your self some play room for thought tho.
chris  Feb 11, 2014

I would measure just to be safe. I bought one for my 2003 4Runner and it fits perfectly behind the seats with room for other stuff in the back.
nohe sebastian  Jan 15, 2014
A
It will be snug
brian  Jan 15, 2014
A
It's a pretty big/heavy box. Not too sure how big the trunk of an Altima is, but if you can make it fix you won't regret it. This box allows me to bump harder then any other dual 12" subs. I've even bumped harder then two 15" subs. This box is worth it.
john m  Jan 15, 2014
A
There is plenty of room left but you need to measure your truck vs the box measurements.
