Sound Ordnance's rugged Bass Bunker enclosures come built to last and ready to help your sub deliver real low-frequency firepower. These unloaded boxes feature high-grade, medium-density fiberboard construction, with sealed inner braces that help combat resonance by reducing vibrations. Rounded outside corners and recessed panels allow them to fit into more vehicles, while tough black carpeting defends against incoming nicks and scratches. Bass Bunkers make a great solution when building your own box is not an option.
The BB122-125S sealed enclosure holds two 12" subwoofers and offers an internal volume of 1.26 cubic feet per chamber. Just add the right subs, amp, and wiring, then mount the enclosure securely, and you're ready to hit the road with some real bass artillery in your arsenal.
Warning: This enclosure does not include mounting hardware. If you're buying a sub from us, please check "What's in the Box?" to see if screws are included. If not, you should have an assortment of heavy-duty wood screws on hand for the installation.
An enclosure is simply the box that houses your sub; sealed and ported enclosures are the most popular types. A sealed enclosure is usually smaller in size, sacrificing a little volume level to deliver more accurate bass. The ported enclosure features a vent which allows bass waves to escape from behind the mounted sub, augmenting the bass coming off the front of the sub. Ported boxes are louder, bigger, and a little less accurate. Every sub works best in the size and type of enclosure that's recommended by the manufacturer, so make sure you match your sub with the right box.
Great sub box well built and easy to mount subs into
Works amazingly, dropped my subs right in and and they sound great!
This box fits perfectly in my Sedan and stays stationary without having to anchor it.
Pros: Well built, looks nice and stays put.
Super fast shipping, arrived when they said it would. Sub box is very well built and sounds great running 2 12" Kenwood subs..powered by a crunch amp...
Pros: Fast shipping, well built tight construction, good terminal leads
Cons: none so far
One of the best boxes you can buy hands down
Pros: This box is built like a tank real sturdy got a lot if weight to it looks good too
The box is very well built. I installed two pioneer twelves and they sound great
Pros: Well built great connections on the back
Cons: I use large speaker wires and the box has a little smaller wire but I don't think it made much difference
very nice sub woofer enclosure, great sound and easy of install of sub woofers and grills
Pros: everything about the box
The box has a nice fabric on the outside of it.it is very solid and heavy. Helps so my subwoofers don't slide a round in the back of my car.
Pros: Sturdy Heavy Cool looking logo on the front
This bass bunker is absolutely what I needed. The sealed enclosure with my dual 12" kickers prove to be more than adequate for my needs. At a great price, I don't think that you can do much better than a Sound Ordinance bass bunker.
Pros: Great price. Perfect sound. Easy wiring setup
Nice box pounds like a mule
I was very impressed with the build quality and overall build of this box. They really took their time making it and is a perfect bunker. Would recommend this brand to anyone and everyone.
Pros: Quality and Build
Excellent value for the price
Perfect for what I need and would extremely likely to use again and again
Its a great box for a budget build.
Pros: Well constructed nice connections
Cons: Could have done without the graphics but still a great box
Great box looks amazing and really great build

Product as described. Very Happy with purchase. Bought from Crutchfield because I knew from previous experience with this company that I wouldn't have any problems .
Pros: Nice looking enclosure, just as pictured. Doesn't rattle or flex under somewhat extreme spl in my experience.
Cons: Supplied 16 guage wire in enclosure is unacceptable for most modern subs.
Bought as a package and am impressed with build quality. Structure in side was braced in key spots and the two chambers were sealed from each other. Fit perfect in my Probe. Heavy but I, not worried about weight or size. Plenty of room.
Pros: Nice carpet, good hookups in back, hatchback style fit perfect behind my rear seats.
Cons: Cabling for subs is smaller gauge too small in my opinion.
Seems to be a great box and it is. my problem is that i have a 94 mustang i was putting this into and it was really hard to get it in there. it fits the trunk just fine but i could not get this one through the opening of the trunk. crutchfield does have a smaller box that still holds two 12's but i dont know about it fitting or not. i just know that this one does not go through the trunk opening. i had to take out the back seat and get it in that way and it was still quite difficult. great box just remember to measure.
Pros: solid and sturdy tight and accurate bass
I had been thinking about changing my substandard box for awhile. If I knew this box would make such a big difference I would have changed a long time ago. Loving it.
Pros: Nice tight bass.
The box is well built and is really appealing to the eye, but I don't think it is a good fit for my Rockford Fosgate P2D4-12's. They really don't seem to be getting enough air to hit like they should. I probably would have been better off with a ported sound ordinance box. The box was a recommendation from a crutchfield representative who obviously didn't know much about the subs I have.
When looking into sub-woofer options for my 1978 vette, I came across this box. It fits perfectly and does not block the 3 storage doors. I loaded it with 2 Kicker CVR's powered by a d1000.1 mono amp, on a pioneer DVD player. sounds killer for The metal and old rock I listen to. Nice tight bass doesn't get drone-y like the band-pass boxes. The 78 has no rear speakers as designed and this box is almost a perfect fit as if designed to go in back.
I have this 1.25 c.f. per side enclosure housing 2 Infinity Reference 1262W subs. It's a
perfect match for these brilliant sounding subs- the bass is full range and there is
almost no unwanted resonances, even without polyfill. I generally don't recommend
polyfill if the box volume exactly matches the woofer's specs. I find that padding/stuffing
takes too much away from the mid to upper bass fequencies, leaving it sounding rather
drab. I tried 2 Alpine Type-R's in this particular box back when I cared less about "sound
quality" and more about the loudness level... The Type R's boomed fairly well in this little
box, but of course not like they would in a larger enclosure. Infinitys weigh less, and
work better with less power (and have great clarity overall), so that's one reason I came
back to this enclosure using them... great match & perfect fit. (Kappa 12"s will not fit in
this box due to their larger diameter!) This Sound Ordinance box is braced well and the
carpet is very durable. Finding a better quality enclosure for this price will be an almost
Thru the years, I have ordered a few speaker boxes from Crutchfield, and of course, they came thru again with this one. Of course you can find boxes online for a little bit cheaper, but for the quality and security of ordering from Crutchfield, you know you're going to get a high quality, high end item. So rather than spend about 7 bucks more for a box online (and the uneasieness of the quality of the box when it arrives), I went with Crutchfield and again, I am highly impressed.
The box is built solid, and the sound was great. Just what I was looking for. The internal wiring is already there, so makes speaker installation a breeze. I ran external wiring to run these in series, but it's behind the box, so out of view.
Another great product from a great company. Thanks Crutchfield.
Went with this Bass Bunker for dual 12" due to wanted o box I could trust and I trust Crutchfield. Found slightly cheaper ones on line, but for a few dollars -the security of support of this product out did the cost factor. I also went with S/O AMP and very impressed. This box is well constructed and great looking. Little surprise when it arrived to find the back of the box is at slight angle. Liked it more when I saw it. We mounted the AMP to the back of the box and mounting all the wires to it also.
This is a VERY good sealed enclosure! I've recently purchased this to mount my 2 12" infinity 1252w subs and man do they slam this box to the max!. There pre-loaded with id say 12 or 14 gauge speaker wire inside already so it makes installation even easier. The design and carpeting is great and looks nice! When i got it delivered since i live on the west coast and came from the east it was banged up in the package but i pulled the box out and it was in perfect condition smelling like new BOX! haha but i highly reccomend basicly any sound ordnance box to anyone 10/10! 2 THUMBS! up
