Dominic DeVito
Sound Ordnance's rugged Bass Bunker enclosures come built to last and ready to help your sub deliver real low-frequency firepower. These unloaded boxes feature high-grade, medium-density fiberboard construction, with sealed inner braces that help combat resonance by reducing vibrations. Rounded outside corners and recessed panels allow them to fit into more vehicles, while tough black carpeting defends against incoming nicks and scratches. Bass Bunkers make a great solution when building your own box is not an option.

Warning: This enclosure does not include mounting hardware. If you're buying a sub from us, please check "What's in the Box?" to see if screws are included. If not, you should have an assortment of heavy-duty wood screws on hand for the installation.

Product Research

Features

Design: The Sound Ordnance BB12-95S Bass Bunker is an unloaded, hatchback-style sealed enclosure for a single 12" subwoofer. It is constructed of 5/8" MDF (medium-density fiberboard), covered in black carpet.

Note: When a Pioneer TS-W3003D2 or TS-W3003D4 subwoofer (item numbers 130W3002D2 and 130W3002D2, sold separately) is installed in this enclosure, there is interference between the interior bracing of the box and the subwoofer frame, such that the sub can't be mounted with the Pioneer logo horizontal. The woofer has to be turned so the logo is at an angle (approximately 45°). Of course this does not affect performance, only cosmetics.

Internal Box Volume: The enclosure has 0.95 cubic feet of airspace.

Terminals: The BB12-95S is equipped with a pair of spring-post speaker terminals, mounted in the rear panel. The spring terminals will accept bare wire, pin connectors, and single banana plugs, but are spaced too far apart for dual banana plugs. Inside the enclosure, the terminals have an attached 18" length of speaker wire for connecting the subwoofer.

Brackets: Brackets for securing the enclosure to your vehicle are recommended.

A
The Kicker Q-Class CWQ subwoofers will be able to fit into this box and the box falls within the recommended range of sealed subwoofer box volumes. These will be a good match

A
Yes it should fit.
kyle  Nov 03, 2020
A
yes,it would definitely fit in this box but this box is designed for lower wattage subs. i would recommend a bigger ported box over this one for a sub over 200w or so.

Q
Will this fit a rockford fosgate t0d412 subwoofer?
tomas  Oct 08, 2020
1 answer
A
Unfortunately the Rockford Fosgate T0D412 would not work with this Sound Ordnance enclosure due to it not being able to provide the Rockford subwoofer with the amount of airspace needed to function properly.

JL 12w6v3 Calls for 1.0Cuft net internal for a sealed box. Going with 0.95 like this box what should I expect soundwise?
ricardo  Apr 30, 2020

We make this match all the time. It works very well. And for those with a good ear for audio detail, we recommend adding a small amount of box stuffing to the inside of the box to make it work like a perfect match. Here is the box stuffing: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_027808/Polyester-Fiber-Stuffing-1-pound-pack.html

Thanks for your question. For information on comparing two or more models I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to help determine the differences and help you make the best choice for your system and your budget.
