About the Sound Ordnance™ Bass Bunker

Dominic DeVito
Sound Ordnance's rugged Bass Bunker enclosures come built to last and ready to help your sub deliver real low-frequency firepower. These unloaded boxes feature high-grade, medium-density fiberboard construction, with sealed inner braces that help combat resonance by reducing vibrations. Rounded outside corners and recessed panels allow them to fit into more vehicles, while tough black carpeting defends against incoming nicks and scratches. Bass Bunkers make a great solution when building your own box is not an option.

The BB15-150S sealed enclosure holds one 15" subwoofer and offers an internal volume of 1.57 cubic feet. Just add the right sub, amp, and wiring, then mount the enclosure securely, and you're ready to hit the road with some real bass artillery in your arsenal.

Warning: This enclosure does not include mounting hardware. If you're buying a sub from us, please check "What's in the Box?" to see if screws are included. If not, you should have an assortment of heavy-duty wood screws on hand for the installation.

A
Is crew cab just a single bench seat with a lil storage behind seat? If so than I'm pretty sure you'd have a hell of a time squeezing that box back there. i had one in the the trunk of my crown Vic with a Rockford fosgate p1 15 and it hit hard
patrick  Nov 11, 2016
A
I believe the subwoofer is 15 and 1/8ths inch deep on the bottom so you could measure and see.

A
We do not have a ported 15" subwoofer box. I wish I had different news for you there. If we ever get one, it will be in this section of our web page. My Bio: http://www.crutchfield.com/Support/Bio.aspx?bio=101

Q
Will this box fit under the rear seat of my 2006 ram mega cab?
james  Apr 01, 2016

A
You'll have to flip the seats. Also with the material unless you have rubber or thicker carpet it will slide about around narrow cornerings.

I don't remember exactly, it was fairly small gauge. I replaced it and soldered the connection. Only took a few minutes and is much more secure. Hope this helps.
