Sound Ordnance's rugged Bass Bunker enclosures come built to last and ready to help your sub deliver real low-frequency firepower. These unloaded boxes feature high-grade, medium-density fiberboard construction, with sealed inner braces that help combat resonance by reducing vibrations. Rounded outside corners and recessed panels allow them to fit into more vehicles, while tough black carpeting defends against incoming nicks and scratches. Q
would this box work? if my woofer state for volume .65 cubic feet
jose  Jan 16, 2022
1 answer
A
I don't know which box this is but it Depends on the size of your subwoofer..but the volume you mentioned is for the box that fits a 10 inch...that box volume would eork for a 10 inch sub...if its a 12 inch sub you need a bigger box

Q
My subwoofer's cutout diameter is 7.20 inches, this enclosure is 7 3/16. I think I would probably sand it down a bit to make it fit, would this be the right approach? We're talking a very minimal amount of space, I think.

A
3/16th is about .18 so I would think it will fit without to much fuss.
jay  Jun 04, 2019
A
I doubt you'll even have to sand it down but it should be easy to do on MDF, if necessary. The difference is less than 1/3 of a millimeter.

Q
Ist OK to use a .38 volume if your required volume is 3.5?
jimmy  Jul 01, 2016
1 answer
A
No, it is not. However, if you mean a required volume of .35 and not 3.5, then yes it will work fine. The difference in volume is insignificant.

Q
Will this box sound good with a Rockford Fosgate Punch P1S4-8 sub? The recommended max volume for this sub is .3 cubic feet but this box is .38 cubic feet. There isn't a lot of options out there for 8" subs other than building a box.

A
I purchased this box for my daughter to use with a Polk 8" subwoofer with similar recommendations. It sounds fantastic in her little Kia Rio. The recommended box volume is just that, simply a suggestion based on the woofer's specifications. Fractional variations in box volume aren't going to have an audible effect on the woofer's performance, so I'm confident you won't be disappointed going with this box. It's very nicely constructed and finished, and a solid value.

I don't know about the RF but the infinity I had in there sounded real nice
jay  May 21, 2016
A
They will work together because the volume taken up by the mass of the speaker magnet and structure reduces the internal volume of the speaker box bringing it closer to the recommended volume for the speaker
juanita  May 21, 2016
A
Yes.

A
yes it does.
