Features

Power Ratings: The Sound Ordnance M-1350 is a mono-block Class AB amplifier with an RMS power rating of 210 watts per channel into 4 ohms, and 350 watts per channel into 2 ohms.Power ratings are measured with an input power of 14.4 volts.

Crossovers: The M-1350 is equipped with a low-pass crossover and a subsonic filter. You can set the low-pass cutoff frequency between 40Hz and 300Hz. The subsonic filter, designed to block ultra low frequencies that can damage speakers and rob amplifier power, is variable between 10Hz and 40Hz. The crossovers have a 12dB per octave slope, and cannot be turned off.

Bass Boost: The amplifier has a rotary bass boost control, which is continuously variable from 0dB to +12dB at 45 Hz.

LED Indicators: The M-1350 features two LED indicators: a green LED that illuminates when the amp is powered on, and a red LED that illuminates when the amplifier is in protect mode due to overheating or a short circuit in the speaker wire.

Remote Bass Control: The amplifier comes with a remote bass control module to allow you to adjust the volume of the amp from the front of the vehicle. The module has a rotary volume control knob, and an LED to indicate when the amplifier is turned on. The module is designed to mount under the dash, and comes with 16-1/2 feet of cable.

Connections

Removable End Caps: The end caps on the M-1350 are removable with a 3mm Allen wrench (not supplied) to make it easier to attach the power and speaker wires.

Power Connections: The power and ground connections are set screw terminals that will accommodate up to 8-gauge wire. (An 8-gauge amplifier wiring kit is recommended.) The remote turn-on terminal is a set screw terminal that will also accept up to 8-gauge wire. A Phillips-head screwdriver (not supplied) is required to tighten/loosen the terminals.

Speaker Connections: The speaker connections are set screw terminals that will accommodate up to 8-gauge wire. Even though this is a mono amplifier, there are two sets of speaker outputs. The terminals are wired in parallel internally, allowing you to connect two 4-ohm speakers to separate terminals. A Phillips-head screwdriver (not supplied) is required to tighten/loosen the terminals.

RCA Inputs and Outputs: The amplifier features a pair of stereo RCA inputs for connecting your head unit. There is also a pair of stereo RCA outputs for feeding the preamp signal to another amplifier, if needed.

Fuses: The M-1350 features two 25-amp ATC blade fuses.

Q
Ok. This may be a stupid question but I'm new to this. So can a mono sub amp power two subs? Or do I need a two channel amp because I have 2 subs?

Yes you can hook up multiple subs to the mono amp. Look up a wiring diagram so you can wire the subs for the ohms you want - this gets a little complicated when you have dual voice coil subs. I believe Crutchfield has some diagrams. - by the way this amp is a great value and packs a lot of power - enjoy!

A
It can power 2 just follow directions on running 2.
michael a  Nov 06, 2015

Yes you should have one channel per sub woofer. So a 2 channel sub is necessary for 2 subs. Or 2 mono amps, 1 per subwoofer. If you choose a 2 channel amp make sure each channel has the proper (watts) for the sub woofers.
john  Nov 06, 2015
A
The answer is yes, you should have a two channel amp for two sub woofers. A mono amp will only have one channel for outputs. This means there is only one pair, positive and negative, of output ports to go to a speaker or sub. A two channel amp will have 2 sets of plugs each providing power to the sub that is hooked up to that port.

Q
If the amp is powering a 4ohm subwoofer will the amp work on 2 ohms or 4 ohms?
liam  Aug 30, 2015

A
4 Ohms but if the sub were 2 ohms the amp would produce 2 ohms
