Win the battle for great sound in your ride. Sound Ordnance amplifiers feature tough construction, rugged looks, and a 3-year warranty, so you can enjoy the full power of your music for the long haul. Even better, you can add Sound Ordnance to your arsenal at a surprisingly affordable price.

The Sound Ordnance M-2100 2-channel amplifier deploys 75 watts RMS to each channel, giving your music plenty of firepower. Or you can bridge the M-2100 to mobilize 200 watts RMS to your sub. An adjustable high-pass filter makes sure your full-range speakers operate within their optimum range and give you the best tone possible. If you're driving a sub, the low-pass filter and a selectable bass boost allow you to control your bass barrage at will.

The M-2100 amplifier uses sophisticated power supply and output technologies to ensure clean amplification from the inputs all the way to your speakers. Special circuits protect the amp from overheating and short circuits, and a turn-on delay virtually eliminates that annoying thump when you turn your system on.

Power Ratings: The Sound Ordnance M-2100 is a two-channel Class AB amplifier with an RMS power rating of 75 watts per channel into 4 ohms, and 100 watts per channel into 2 ohms. The amp can also be bridged into a 4-ohm load for a power rating of 200 watts. Power ratings are measured with an input power of 14.4 volts.

Crossovers: The M-2100 is equipped with both high-pass and low-pass crossovers. You can set the low-pass cutoff frequency between 50Hz and 250Hz, and the high-pass cutoff frequency between 80Hz and 2kHz. A 3-way switch lets you select low-pass, high-pass, or full range operation. The crossovers have a 12dB per octave slope.

Super Bass: The amplifier has a bass boost switch, labeled Super Bass, to give small subwoofers more volume in the low frequencies. You can select the amount of boost with the 3-way switch: 0dB, 6dB, or 12dB.

LED Indicators: The M-2100 features two LED indicators: a green LED that illuminates when the amp is powered on, and a red LED that illuminates when the amplifier is in protect mode due to overheating or a short circuit in the speaker wire.

I just bought the infinity 62.11i speakers and now I need an amplifier so they can be used to their full potential. I need someone to recommend me an amplifier for these speakers because they can get real confusing?

Q
If I were to use the speaker level inputs, would I get a usable signal out of the pre-amp outputs? or are the pre-amp outputs only active when you use the RCA low level inputs?

I forwarded your question to an Advisor and they responded with the following: Not all amplifiers allow for speaker-level inputs to be used in conjunction with an RCA pre-amp output, but the Sound Ordnance M2100 doesn't say that the RCA pre-amp output isn't functional if you go with speaker-level connections. If you would like to discuss further you can contact an Advisor directly by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat.

Q
Why does my amp keep overheating? My subs were working fine i have 2 12" subs in an enclosure and when i hooked both up, the amp seemed to overheat and go into protection mode after 5 minutes, when before, when i only had 1 speaker hooked up, it was fine. Is it a problem with the power output or maybe with the stereo? I also switched out both my rear speakers and my 2 front speakers.

Q
I have 2 sound ordnance 12" subs with peak watt at 500. I'm just curious if this amp would be able to work with both subs without blowing fuses and stuff like that? I originally had the subs hooked to a 1000w Sony explode amp but it blew numerous fuses. So I'm just curious if this is the amp I need or could anyone lead me in the right direction?
