purchase them for a custom mounting in my rx7, the provide a full range of sound and high good highs with the tweeters and crossovers, well worth 50.00 . I will be buying a bigger amp to push them I have a 45X4 Alpine amp now, the speaker grills need shimmed a bit with a little gummy tabs, other than that, I will buy another set for my sons car.

Pros: very reasonable priced.

Cons: speaker grills needed secured better.

First of all they sound great. Installed in a 2012 Ford Focus SE and install was a breeze- tweeters came with plenty of mounting options and fit in the stock location, install kit from Crutchfield was perfect as always. I am pushing 50 watts to these and they can handle that and more- definitely looking to pick up another pair or two for other vehicles I own.

Pros: Price, mounting options, ease of install, sound

Cons: Unless you plan on pushing a lot of wattage through these, I can't think of any

Great Speakers, good price

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these speakers about 8 months ago. I wanted to wait on a review to see if these speakers would last a while.... and they did, and still are! The sound is better than expected.

I did give 4/5 stars because of the tweeter mounts. They feel a bit cheap; not easily breakable cheap, but just plastic feel cheap. Also, for the door flush mount, the tweeters can only face straight (does not face the driver and passenger. To face the driver and passenger, a surface mount is needed.

Pros: *Great Price * Great sound

Cons: *Flush mounting has to face straight (cannot pivot)

The speakers go great with my Clarion head unit amplifier! They sound very clear in the highs and the woofers really make the bass hit good. They came with everything I needed to make them work on my 2012 Ford Focus.

Pros: Clear highs, and great lows. Sounds great for the price. Hit hard.

Cons: Crossover was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Made it a bit difficult to find a spot for it. Mids aren't super perfect once volume is higher.

Sound is good improvement over factory speakers, terrible instructions, just a basic wiring diagram ,no parts list or suggestions on how or where to install. Disappointed cause Crutchfield used to have much better instructions, even the download was no help!

Pros: improved sound

Cons: terrible instructions and help

Fantastic - speakers were spot on - the install instructions we spot on the installation wiring was perfect - it took longer to get the door panel off than it did to install them. I have another set to install the fronts tomorrow and now im not dreading it.

Pros: Installation PDF - Wiring harness

Cons: no real cons - if I had to really dig up a "CON" It's be that the speaker screw holes dont 100% line up so make sure not to fully screw in until all screws are started then do it like you would a tire.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these speakers because the of price. So I had my doubt as to quality of speaker. After opening box I find a well made speaker. Installation was a breeze thanks to brackets provided by Crutchfield. When I finished and turned on stereo I was blown away. With factory ford stereo the music was loud and crisp. Bass respond was excellent but the tweeters were very impressive. Could finally hear highs like I like. I had to turn treble down. I think my next purchase will be a 4 channel amp to really drive these speakers to see what more they can offer

The speakers sound amazing. I would have given 5 stars but I had to use other means to secure them to the back dash, they didn't reach the holes of the old speakers.

Pros: Amazing sound, definitely separates the bass and treble.

Cons: Didn't fit old speaker holes to screw in.

Put them in the rear seat area of my GTO. The crossovers are a little bulky but overall the speakers and tweeters have great sound and were really affordable. Super clear highs, decent mids, great bass. I actually ran the tweets to the rear deck; despite what the experts say, I found it completely worthwhile. Sounds intense!

Cons: Bulky crossovers

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers are awesome. The tweeters are extremely loud but really add new heighta to the music. The woofers are great. Nothing to special. Their bass response is pretty average, you can hear it for sure and its about as good as any speaker will get for bass without a sub. Installation wasn't the easiest thing ever but I knew that before I bought them. It was part of the fun of installing them. My stock radio produces enough power for these. In fact these are louder than my stock speakers because of the tweeters. The wiring that came with these was way better than expected. I was expecting a full on solder job that I would have to do but it is all using connectors and the wiring took maybe 10 minutes for both doors

Pros: Tweeters sound great Average bass response Cool crossovers Easy wiring set up Works great with stock radio Fun to install in my 2006 Chevy impala

Cons: Putting the speakers in the door mounts wasn't super easy, but not terrible. Works better to have a second set of hands. Tweeters can hurt the ears if you turn your treble up all the way. Easy fix though...

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these speakers for my sons' truck expecting a sub par product at this price point. Anything would be better than the stock whizzer cones, but these did not fail to impress! The crossover was open on all sides (the only place I could see an improvement being made, as it's susceptible to moisture), but well marked and easy to install. I put these in the front doors of a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500. The included speaker mounts were required as the opening in the door panel is squarish. Cut a hole in the sail panel for the mirror to flush mount the tweeter, and instant great sound! The bass response from the dedicated woofer in all four doors was similar to my punch 10" with an amp in my Dodge Ram. The range of sound you get from this component system is what I would expect from a much higher priced setup. This was a good buy!

Pros: Ease of installation, comes with all wiring and setups for multiple tweeter installations (flush/semi-flush/surface). Sound is comparable to much higher priced setups. Well thought out design and quality construction.

Cons: The only con I could come up with is it would be nice to put a large double sticky foam piece or velcro to mount the crossover. This is not an option - it has to be mounted. So some kind of mounting in the package would be nice.

Hands down amazing! I run a full competition setup in one of my personal vehicles. For my little sister's 16th birthday, I decided to set her up with a little extra bump in her first car, an 01 Corolla. I've never tried these speakers before and figured it's just her first car anyways. Definitely not competition, but my mind was blown by the sound quality in these speakers, and it only got better as I tuned her system. AMAZING!

Pros: Amazing highs, strong miss, and decent lows.

Cons: Lows are fairly weak, a sub is great to fill in the gaps.

Written by: CheapFocus from Fort Worth, TX on December 9, 2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these for my 2012 Ford Focus without the Sony system (no factory tweeter installed). These installed very easily. The tweeter fit in the factory tweeter location, just a little hot glue to hold them in spot. I mounted the crossover on the interior door skin (behind the door panel) and it fit without issues. the woofer was a little small even with the supplied speaker adapters but everything seems to be working very well. For the price I paid, there is absolutely no complaints!

Pros: Sound quality for price paid.

Cons: Speaker wires that come with kit are short. If the crossover is going to be mounted more that about 12-18 inches away from the input or speakers then more wire will be needed.

Great upgrade from the factory speakers in my Canyon. I only have an after market Double din Kenwood pushing them and they have super sound and really good base. They sound better than my Infinity 6 1/2's in the rear of the truck. I am planning on adding a small amp now to see how good they can really sound.

Pros: Great sound at a great price. Sound better and are cheaper than my infinity's.

Cons: A little difficult to find a place to mount the cross over's (they are pretty large), but a small price to pay for the sound quality you get.

was going to upgrade the factory sound system in my 06 GTO, decided to do the speakers first. I used these to upgrade the OEM subs in the back. (I did not use the tweeters). Factory radio kicks now with the upgrade of the doors and back panel speakers (used a Polk DB651s speaker)! The entire audio range is significantly better than the stock speakers. Install was straight forward. Great speakers for the price!

Pros: rich bass, easy to install

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought the speakers for my 1997 vw jetta and they were a slight increase in volume until distortion and there was a fair amount of notice in the quality of the sound from the stock speakers. I am currently powering them from a kenwood Kdc-352u with 22 watts rms but I feel that once I add an amp that will power it correctly they will be louder and clearer. All in all these are pretty good speakers that sound very nice and a lot better than most stock speakers even premium stock speakers and I would recommend these to someone on a tight budget that wants quality sound without breaking the bank.

Pros: Good sounding speakers without breaking the bank

Cons: Not super loud but may also be because of low power supply

Good sound for a reasonable price. Not high end speakers, but not a high end price, either. I replaced some blown door speakers in a 1997 chevy pickup. Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I ordered these and some P-69's for my son's birthday to replace the 13 year old Infinity speakers in his 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. The P-67C's were on sale, so I couldn't pass them up. After looking at all the other options, this was by far the best set I could find in this price range. It came with an actual crossover unit which allowed for -3db, which I knew that I would need considering where the tweeters are mounted (sail fins), and the tweeters are silk dome, which is what we preferred.

The tweeters were a pain to install. Usually the backs of tweeters are flat, and you can use 2 way tape or a glue gun to glue them into the original position, but this set has a strange set up on the back. The leads start on the sides, which is normal, but then they 90 towards the middle, and the the wires are connected the the ends. I'm not crazy about this setup, and may of possibly bought a different set had I known that. I didn't want to bend the leads because I feared they would break, so I came up with a different way to mount them which involved the flush mounts mounted to the back of the OEM openings(sail fins) and a lot of glue from a hot glue gun, which ended up working perfectly.

They sound much better than the OEM's. We are happy with the sound.

I should also note that for this speaker upgrade we bypassed the factory amp because its rated for 16 Watts @ 2 ohms per ch. The head unit we used puts out 20 Watts RMS @ 4 ohms per ch. It's a JVC KDX50BT.

Pros: Got to spend more time with my son trying to fit these to his car, price, actual crossover with adjustments, not just a capacitor. Nice over all sound.

Cons: Nothing about these speakers were a perfect fit. The woofer is slightly smaller than OEM so we had to drill new holes, and mounting the tweeters in the OEM spots was a pain.

Just Okay

Written by: Mike from Late Stevens, WA on January 5, 2013

I just installed the Sound Ordance P-65 in front and P-67 in the rear of my 2000 Grand Cherokee. They don't sound much better than the 10 year old factory infiniti speakers. Don't expect too much from these speakers. The rear speakers did not have the proper mounting hardware so I had to drill holes in the door. I did not expect that. Crutchfield's instructions did not include that little detail.

Pros: Low cost, I got these on sale. Don't pay full price, they are not worth it.

Cons: Average performance, much like an OEM speaker.
