About the Cambridge Audio iD50
High-performance sound from your iPod
High-performance sound from your iPod
Cambridge Audio understands sound. That's why their iD50 premium docking station is more than just an ordinary iPod dock. Sophisticated circuitry inside the iD50 ensures that clean, clear audio and video signals are delivered to your receiver and TV monitor.
Getting the noise out of the way
Cambridge Audio uses "quasi-differential noise canceling" to achieve superior sound from your docked player. What does that mean? The circuitry generates a noise-canceling signal that's 180° out of phase with electronic noise. When added to the incoming audio signal, the in-phase noise and out-of-phase noise cancel each other out, leaving only the pure music for you to enjoy. You can even disable the iPod charging feature from the included remote, to make sure it won't interfere with audio playback in any way.
Thoughtful design and easy navigation
The iD50 docking station features an audiophile-quality RCA stereo output with gold-plated terminals to ensure efficient signal transfer. It also includes both composite and S-video output, so you can play videos from your iPod on your TV. Plus, this dock also generates an on-screen menu, making navigation easy with the remote.
