Our take on the Velbon UP-400

by Kristen Schaub
Velbon

Steady your shots quickly and easily with Velbon's UP-400 monopod. This lightweight, compact monopod quickly extends to just over 5 feet, helping to stabilize your camera for blur-free shots of your kid on a soccer field or of a deer in the woods. Each section of the aluminum leg easily locks in place with a lever to ensure a solid support for your camera, while the attached strap and rubber foot help you steady it. And it folds down to just 20", making it less bulky to carry than a traditional tripod.
