About the Grado iGrado
Accurate, detailed sound with your iPod®
Accurate, detailed sound with your iPod®
Why should you have to sacrifice sound quality just because you like to listen to your music on the go? With the iGrados, you won't have to. These street-style headphones were designed specifically for today's portable music devices, like an iPod or other MP3 player. The least expensive model in Grado's Prestige series, the iGrados deliver surprisingly satisfying sound from a design that's stylish, lightweight, and affordable.
High-performance internal components for renowned Grado sound
The iGrados use the same drivers found in Grado's more expensive SR60i headphones. You'll hear incredibly detailed vocals and instruments, along with pronounced bass. The high-quality copper voice coils ensure the sound is smooth and dynamic without any distortion. And the on-ear earcups feature an "open-air" design with metal mesh backings — it means that air passes through while you're listening, giving you a more open, natural listening experience.
On-the-go design
The iGrados feature a stylish, lightweight behind-the-neck headband and weigh in at just 3 oz. They're perfect for listening to your music on the way to class or at your cubicle. The 40" copper cord ensures a clear signal transmission and terminates in a stereo mini plug that works with most portable music players, laptops, and more.

Features
Vented diaphragm: Grado headphones have a vented diaphragm design for a large, airy, three-dimensional sound.
Drivers: The diaphragm is made of a low mass polymer, developed with the compliance of the suspension in mind to achieve the desired low frequency response. The diaphragm's total mass is designed to provide a full 20 kHz bandwidth, while avoiding break-up at lower frequencies. The left and right drivers are matched to within 0.1 dB for exact imaging.
Voice Coil: The iGrado's voice-coils are wound from ultra-high purity, long crystal (UHPLC) oxygen free copper. This high conductivity copper yields a clear transmission and minimizes coloration, resulting in smooth, clean and dynamic sound output.
Connecting Cord: Grado also uses UHPLC copper in the cable.
Specifications:
- Frequency Response: 20 Hz to 20 kHz
- Impedance: 32Ω
- Maximum Input Power: 150 mW
- Sensitivity (1 kHz): 100 dB @ 1m
