I use these at church; I play in the praise band. Very clear and I can still hear talking next to me. Love 'em.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Product was exactly what I was looking for. This wasn't a high dollar order, but I have to say the surprising thing was the outstanding service I received from everyone I spoke with or emailed from crutchfield.

Grado S cushions

Written By Pete, Chesapeake, Va. on Monday, October 14, 2013
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Replacement cushions, they do what they are supposed to do. Nothing more, nothing less. These are for the lower end Grado's. They do not fit the 325is's.
Pros:
they work
Cons:
make sure they fit your headphones

Do these ear cushions actually come from Grado, or another company? Thanks! [ Chris  Feb 15, 2014 ]

  • I don't think they're from Grado, but I'm not certain. They're at least as good as the originals, and I'd buy them again. I was a little concerned (probably like you) over very negative comments about other third-party replacements available elsewhere. These are very good. They fit my SR60's perfectly. [ Jeffrey   Feb 28, 2014 ]
  • I beleave they do come from Grado because I called Grado first and they refered me to Crutchfield. [ TNN   Feb 18, 2014 ]
  • I contacted Crutchfield and was reassured that these s-cusihions were from Grado. I purchased two units and in comparison with my SR80i headset, they appear exactly the same including manufactured from the same material. Not the cheap material being distributed by generic replacement pads. With the exception of one of the four pads being mis-shappened either during manufacturing or storage--it was oblong in shape, I was very satisfied with the purchase. I suspect the oblong was due to the storage bag and will be fine once installed. I am very picky, but, again, very satisfied these were genuine parts. [ RICHARD   Feb 17, 2014 ]
  • Chris, I am not sure how I could tell. They arrived in a plastic bag with a label on it: "Grado S-CUSH replacement cushions for 60i, 80i, 125i" there was also a bar code: 786SCUSH I could not say that this either proves or disproves the origin from Grado, but I can say that they fit perfectly. regards, Mark [ Mark   Feb 17, 2014 ]
  • Due to the packaging, I can't tell who actually makes them. Sorry. I can tell you that they do fit perfectly, and they do appear to be an exact replacement, as regards size and material used. I purchased them along with the headphones because they might not be available in 2-3 years, when I actually need them. You may want to consider that. By the way, does anyone really know who makes anything anymore. I doubt that Grado, Sony, Sennheiser, or any other company actually make their own headphones, let alone the replacement parts. [ THOMAS   Feb 17, 2014 ]
  • Short answer is, Yes. Food for thought. S-cushion is common on the 125 and lower model numbers. I use the L-cushion on 125 model. Much improved sound stage and quality. L-cushion does come from Grado and Crutchfield sells is. So do others if out of stock or just call Grado, they may be able to ship you a pair. [ ERIC   Feb 17, 2014 ]
  • Yes, they actually came from Grado, assuming you mean "were made by". I was about to buy them from Grado directly, but the shipping was expensive and slow. The price was the same apart from shipping. Since Crutchfield had them in stock and had the free 2day shipping deal, it was a no-brainer. I admit that I don't remember exactly how I determined that these ones really were the Grado ones - but I had the same concern and I did make sure of it at the time. [ Avram   Feb 17, 2014 ]
