Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This was recommended as a needed item with my package but it is not needed with the mus-1 dash kit. First it does not have the extra wiring for the dash kit and the dash kit comes with the correct harness already. Unfortunately i soldered this harness together first only to realize it was missing the wiring for the dash kit buttons then I had to start over again.

If you are installing the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR Factory Integration Adapter spend the extra few bucks and get this harness. You can do the install without it but you'll spend several hours cutting, splicing and soldering without it.

Pros: Makes the installation of the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR Factory Integration Adapter painless.

Cons:

Makes installing a Maestro a snap!

This makes wiring up the Maestro unit a snap. There's only around 10-ish wires to connect to the head units harness plus a couple to the car harness and everything else is plug-and-play.

Pros: Retain all original controls; simple to instal.

Cons: Lack of directions with harness; but Crutchfield covers those with THEIR instructions.
