This compact go-anywhere kit combines Goal Zero's Guide 10 Plus rechargeable battery pack and Nomad 7 folding solar panel. Together they'll keep your handheld gear going strong. Their small size and light weight makes them perfect for tossing in a backpack for recharging power wherever and whenever you need it.
The Guide 10 Plus is best used with your smaller USB powered devices. Charge AA/AAA batteries from the sun or any USB port, then power your phone, camera or GPS, or even perk up your tablet in a pinch.
The Nomad 7 is an ultra-compact yet powerful solar panel that enables you to charge your handheld devices directly from its USB and 12 Volt DC charging ports.
Two ways to charge the Guide 10 Plus
To keep the Guide 10 Plus charged up and ready to go, connect it to the Nomad 7 solar panel and place it in the sun. Or, you can plug the Guide 10 Plus into any USB power source, such as a laptop.

Nomad 7: The Nomad 7 dual solar panel has three outputs, a Solar plug for the Guide 10 Plus battery charger, a 12 volt output for the included 12 volt car adapter (has a cigarette lighter type port), and a USB type-A port. Multiple outputs can be used simultaneously; the available power is split between them. There is also a Chain Input so up to four Nomad 7s can be linked together to provide more power. Nine nylon loops allow you to easily hang/mount the solar panel.

Guide 10 Plus: The Guide 10 Plus battery charger includes four AA NiMH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) rechargeable batteries and offers two options for charging, the Solar port plugged into the included Nomad 7 solar panel, or the mini-USB type-B input port connected to another USB power supply. An adapter is included for charging four AAA NiMH batteries (AAA batteries not included). With the charged batteries inside, the Guide 10 Plus acts as a USB power supply using its USB type-A output port. The built-in LED flashlight will run for more than 100 hours on a full charge. An LED indicates the amount of charging completed (while charging) and power availability (when not charging).

This is a great product based on usage of my friend's kit. I haven't had the chance to try mine yet, but I would not have bought it if it wasn't good. Goodbye to alkaline batteries on hunting trips!
