Features
Overview: The Soundfreaq Sound Stack is a high fidelity sound system
for your Apple iPod, iPhone, iPad device and smartphone, tablet, or computer. The
Sound Stack features an integrated dock for your iPod, iPhone, or iPad. It also
supports Bluetooth (A2DP) audio streaming for your Apple device, smartphone,
tablet, or computer. In addition, the Sound Stack is fitted with a 3.5mm
auxiliary input and optical digital input for connection of almost any external
audio device. For added convenience, the Soundfreaq Sound Stack is equipped with
a built-in FM.
UQ3 Spatial Enhancement: UQ3 is a proprietary technology that enhances stereo separation. The Sound Stack is acoustically balanced to
complement every genre of music, at any volume with vocal clarity, natural bass,
and stereo separation using UQ3 spatial enhancement.
DubSub Technology: The Soundfreaq Sound Stack achieves audiophile
quality sound using four custom-engineered Kevlar-reinforced balanced
drivers. The Sound Stack features a unique 2.2 speaker configuration that pairs
two full-range drivers with two active subwoofers in a push-pull configuration
for clarity, detail, and deep bass.
Bluetooth A2DP: The Soundfreaq Sound Stack supports Bluetooth A2DP so
you can wirelessly stream music and apps from your smartphone, tablet, or PC;
including iPod touch, iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry, and Windows/Mac
computers. It even provides lossless Bluetooth streaming of AAC audio files with
iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad. You can also use the Sound Stack or the included
remote to control basic playback functions of your streamed audio device. The Soundfreaq has a wireless range of approximately
32'.
Note: Due to the differences in Bluetooth technology, some
Bluetooth enabled devices may be incompatible, function improperly, or may
not support all features when used with the Sound Stack.
iPod/iPhone/iPad Dock: The Soundfreaq Sound Stack features an
integrated dock for audio playback, remote control, and charging of your Apple iPod touch, iPhone,
or iPad. The Sound Stack is compatible with the following iPods, iPhones, and iPads (as of November 2011):

Note: Apple iPod/iPhone software updates may change
functionality results. If you download a newer software version, you may
need to reset the unit and your iPod/iPhone to regain functionality. If this
doesn't work, you may need to revert to the older software version or wait
until a newer software update is available.
Remote Control: The Sound Stack comes with an IR remote control to
operate the system, your docked Apple device, or connected Bluetooth device. The remote provides
basic playback functions; such as Play/Pause, Skip
Next/Previous, and Fast Forward/Rewind.
Note: The remote control can be conveniently held in the storage
area on the back of the unit (magnetically).
Soundfreaq Remote App: The free Soundfreaq Remote App is available for
Apple iOS and Android. When the Sound Stack is connected via Bluetooth, the
downloaded app lets you use your compatible Apple iOS or Android device as the
Sound Stack's remote control and to interface with the system's built-in FM
radio tuner. You can manage your tracks, playlist, volume, tone controls
directly from your Apple iOS or Android device. You can also see your track
information and settings on your device's LCD screen.
Note: You must be within 30' of the Sound Stack for the Soundfreaq
Remote App to function.
FM Radio: The Soundfreaq Sound Stack is equipped with an internal
digital FM tuner which is only accessible using the Soundfreaq Remote App
interface. You can store up to 20 FM station presets.
Aux Input: The Soundfreaq Sound Stack features a rear-panel 3.5mm auxiliary input
for connecting an external audio device with a standard 3.5mm audio output or
headphone jack.
Optical Input: The Sound Stack includes a rear-panel optical digital input for
connecting a digital audio device with a optical (toslink) digital audio output.
USB Power Port: The unit is fitted with a rear-panel USB
(type-A) power port that charges
compatible devices including mobile phones and wireless headsets (your device
must allow USB charging).
External AC Power Supply: The Soundfreaq Sound Stack operates off of
standard household AC current using the supplied external power supply and AC
power cord.
