This all-in-one package from JBL has everything you need to start building a great marine audio system on your boat. The compact PRV170 marine receiver and powerful 6-1/2" MS6200 speakers are made for marine use, so they'll stand up to the harshest elements while giving you the power and performance you expect.
The marine environment is harsh, but these 6-1/2" JBL® speakers are up to the challenge. With waterproof motor structures, a one-piece cast-polymer basket, a sealed magnet, rubber surrounds, and a grille-mounted tweeter, these speakers stand up to sun, spray, salt, and all those post-cruise washdowns. These speakers will handle up to 60 watts RMS, and they'll deliver strong bass and crystal-clear highs that cut through the roar of the open water.
JBL knows that finding extra space on a boat can be tough, so these speakers have a mounting depth of only 2-3/4 inches (70 millimeters) and a cutout diameter of 5-1/16" (129 millimeters). They'll fit in tight spots, with help from the included stainless steel mounting brackets.

Really cool face and easy function. Great product
Easy installation. Sounds Great. Bluetooth a breeze.
Very nice compact unit. It fit great on our inflatable dinghy. Speakers fit under seat in fiberglass compartment and radio looked great in dash. Looked great with the gauges. The separate usb port and aux port is a nice idea too. Sounds great.
Pros: Nice looking, sounds great
Cons: was missing a harness when shipped but Crutchfield took car of it
Perfect, compact, and an attractive addition to the boat! Sounds great with only the two speakers and has plenty of room to expand to a four speaker and or a sub woofer setup. The head unit takes up far less space than a traditional stereo. It was very easy to install, paired easily with my phone and eliminates the need for an additional mp3 device. However an MP3 device can easily be used with the usb/accessory port that comes with the package. I am excited to have found this unit!
This was the perfect setup for me. I love mudding with my 2012 Arctic Cat MudPro 700. I love my music even more but the 2 just would not combine. I wasted 1 stereo and 2 Bluetooth speakers because of water & mud. Then I saw this radio on sale at Crutchfield! Started the installation the day 2days ago and completed it this afternoon! Three days to install? I read your mind, didn't I? Yes 3 days or 22 hours. Four hours to design a waterproof box for the stereo and speakers, 3 hours to purchase supplies at Lowes, 15 hours to assemble, test, install and troubleshoot. Email rangerBB@me.com for final pics of my waterproof quad stereo system.
Pros: Stereo is just 4" in diameter! Comes with the latest Bluetooth technology, includes USB input, auxiliary input & AM/FM receiver. 45W x 4 built in Amp! 2 pairs RCA pre-outs. Separate waterproof aux & USB adapter (included). Flexible Am/FM antenna (included). remote ready If you pay attention & take your time learning all the receivers functions, I think this radio will benefit everyone! It took me 3 times to get the radio paired to my IPhone - I didn't follow instructions!
Cons: The only con I found was the red power cable from the radio to the connector was on the opposite corner from the ground wire. Which did not match the adapter connector. The yellow (backup) wire was on the corner (Red & yellow wires were chris crossed on the adapter side. This was no big deal for me because I was able to troubleshoot this problem. *Nitpicking - The FM receiver works too good. I was pre-setting the stations in auto mode. The stations were filled from 80 to 93.3. Darn auto.
Looks and sounds great!
