Simple but not easy

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a great looking and sturdy unit. A perfect size piece for my 50" Sony LED and ZVOX 580 sound bar. It's packaged so well from the factory it's hard to slide the parts out the end of the box. BUT... it goes together with plastic slide locks embedded in the wood. These do NOT slide easy! The instructions suggest using some sort of lube in the slide locks although they don't supply any. I used Vaseline and finally got the first two parts together but it took as much muscle as it did patience.

Pros: well protected packaging. Very sturdy and attractive. Doors come pre-installed

Cons: Assembly was easy to understand, difficult to accomplish

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Made in China. Color is a little darker than image appears, I would call it medium dark oak. Top is hardwood (cherry?) with oak veneer over. Very easy to assemble. I received one with a few mfg. flaws, most notably the center post was not fastened because they missed with the finish nail. Also numerous "scars" from manufacturing (obviously not from shipping).

Pros: Well packed. Substantial (90 pounds). Very simple assembly with good instructions. The unit appears as advertised.

Cons: Lack of Quality Control in the manufacturing process, many cosmetic flaws, one structural one. This is not an heirloom folks.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Perfect size for my living room. VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLE. It actually took longer to unpack than it did to assemble! Hold my 50" TV perfectly; 55" would probably fit OK but would overpower the room. Sturdy. Only negative is the inaccurate color rendition in the picture; it's darker than shown, but still looks OK with the rest of the room.

Pros: Easy assembly, sturdy, room for 4 components.

Cons: A little darker finish than I expected.
