When the Apple iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus is connected to the Juice Pack, a battery symbol will appear on the screen and you will hear a chirp from the iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus; this indicates that the iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus is charging and/or using the power from the Juice Pack rather than from the iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus itself.

Rechargeable Battery: The Mophie Juice Pack features a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery rated at 2600mAh. The Mophie Juice Pack battery can easily be recharged by connecting the Juice Pack to a power source using the included micro-USB cable. The USB cable can be plugged in to your computer or any "Works with iPhone" wall-plug style power source with USB output. You can either charge the Juice Pack with the iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus inserted or charge them separately. The Juice Pack comes charged and ready to go, but after the initial use, normal charging will take only 2 to 3 hours for maximum power.

Note: The Juice Pack is rechargeable for over 500 full cycles. So, you can charge your juice pack 10% of the way 10x before it counts as a complete cycle. After 500 cycles, its fully charged capacity will be less than 75% of the capacity when it's new.

Pass-Through Charging & Sync: The Mophie Juice Pack enables pass-through charge while connected to a computer; your iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus recharges first, and then the Juice Packs case recharges. Your iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus will even sync while the Juice Pack recharges, when connected to a computer or laptop.

Standby Mode: The integrated power switch allows you to put the Juice Pack in standby mode, so you only use the battery when you need it. In standby mode, the Juice Pack still allows charge and sync capabilities through the micro-USB port and still offers the complete protection of a case.

4 LEDs: Four LEDs on the bottom of the smart battery case keep tabs on how much power is left in the Juice Pack battery. The LEDs also keep you updated on the Juice Pack charging status when it's plugged in. The LEDs located on the back of the device will blink when charging. As the 6 Plus/6S Plus becomes more charged, the LEDs will indicate how full it is, but one LED will remain blinking until completely full. To check the battery status of the Juice Pack, press the button located on the bottom of the case. When pressed, the LED lights will illuminate for several seconds. Four LEDs means that the Juice Pack is fully charged, and one LED means that it is almost empty.
