Mobile Device Compatibility: The Mophie Juice Pack Powerstation is an external battery that will charge most smartphone and tablet devices, including Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad and Android. Simply use the cable that came with your smartphone or tablet device to connect the Powerstation. You will need to press the status indicator button on the side of the Powerstation to begin charging. The Powerstation has a charging output of up to 2.1 amp and is capable of switching between a 500 mA, 1A, and 2.1A charge. USB Connectors: The Mophie Juice Pack Powerstation is fitted with a USB (type-A) port and a micro-USB (type-B) port. The USB (type-A) port is used to power and charge your smartphone or tablet device, using the cable supplied with your mobile device. The micro-USB (type-B) port is used to charge the Powerstation's battery pack, using the included 31" charging cable.

Rechargeable Battery: The Mophie Juice Pack Powerstation features a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery rated at 4000mAh. This high-output battery provides ultra-fast charging that is 4x faster than traditional USB batteries. Additionally, improved conversion efficiency means more power actually makes it to your connected mobile device. To charge the Juice Pack Powerstation, simply connect the Powerstation to your computer or a third-party USB wall adapter (sold separately) using the included micro-USB-to-USB charging cable. The battery pack is rechargeable for over 500 full cycles. Partial cycles don't count as full, so you can charge your juice pack 10% of the way ten times before you get to a complete cycle.

Note: You cannot charge the Juice Pack Powerstation battery pack and your smartphone/tablet device at the same time.

4 LED Indicators: You can determine the amount of juice the Powerstation has by pressing the status indicator button on the side of the device and checking the 4 LEDs. When the button is pressed the LEDs will illuminate for several seconds. Four LEDs means that the juice pack is fully charged and one LED means that it's almost empty. The LED power indicators will blink when charging. As the Powerstation becomes more charged, the LEDs will indicate how full it is, but one LED will remain blinking until completely full.

Protection Circuitry: The Juice Pack Powerstation external battery pack features built-in short circuit, over-charge, and temperature protection.
