Rechargeable Battery: The Mophie Space Pack 32GB features a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery rated at 1700mAh. The Mophie Space Pack 32GB battery can easily be recharged by connecting the Space Pack 32GB to a power source using the included micro-USB cable. The USB cable can be plugged in to your computer or any "Works with iPhone" wall-plug style power source with USB output. You can either charge the Space Pack 32GB with the iPhone 5/5S inserted or charge them separately. The Space Pack 32GB comes charged and ready to go, but after the initial use, normal charging will take only 2 to 3 hours for maximum power.

Standby Mode: The integrated power switch allows you to put the Space Pack 32GB in standby mode, so you only use the battery when you need it. In standby mode, the Space Pack 32GB still allows charge and sync capabilities through the micro-USB port and still offers the complete protection of a case.
