Overview: The redesigned Beats Studio Wireless headphones,
like the wired version, have new
features to give you better sound, more comfort, and a streamlined look. These
iconic headphones feature Bluetooth wireless technology, and are powered by a rechargeable battery. The Beats Studio comes with
audio cable (in case you can't go wireless), a charging cable, and a cleaning cloth
to keep your headphones looking new at all times.
Folding Design: The Beats Studio's ear cups are hinged so
they can be folded for easy storage in the included soft padded carrying case.
Bluetooth: The Beats Studio Wireless headphones feature
Bluetooth Specification 2.1 + EDR support so you can make and receive phone
calls hands-free with a compatible mobile phone, and listen to music from a
compatible music player from a distance of up to 33 feet. The headphones feature
the following Bluetooth profiles: Headset Profile (HSP) V1.2, Hands-Free Profile
(HFP) V1.5, Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) V1.0, and Audio Video
Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) V1.0.
Beats Acoustic Engine: The Beats Studio Wireless features custom DSP software
that is designed for specific music types, such as rock, hip-hop, pop,
electronic, and R&B, to bring out the full musical experience. The resulting
sound is designed to bring you an intimate, personal, and emotional listening
Rechargeable Battery: The built-in battery provides approximately
10 hours of talk/playback time on a full charge when using wirelessly, and about
100 hours of standby time. The headphones include a 37" USB
charging cable with a Type A USB plug on one end and a Micro USB plug on the
headphone end. An indicator light will glow red while charging and green when
fully charged. An empty battery takes about one hour to reach a full charge.
Built-in Microphone/Controls: The right ear cup has a
built-in microphone and controls for pairing the headphones, adjusting the
volume, and for your music listening and phone calls. The outside surface of the
ear cup is a rocking panel with volume up and down, skip back and skip next,
power and pairing, and answer/hang up for phone calls. The center button
controls play and pause.
RemoteTalk Cable: A 54" straight RemoteTalk cable is included with the
Beats Studio Wireless headphones so you can still listen to your music when you
can't (or choose not to) go wireless. The RemoteTalk cable
has an in-line microphone/3-button remote control. The remote is fully
compatible with iPhone, iPod, and iPad, and partially compatible with HTC,
Blackberry, and Android devices. The outer buttons control volume up and
volume down (iOS devices only), while the center button controls phone calls and music playback.
With one press, you can answer or hang up a phone call, and play or pause your
music. Two presses during music playback skips forward to the next track. Three
presses skips backwards to the beginning of the currently playing track or the
