Overview: Beats Studio Wireless headphones have the same
sound quality as the Beats Studio, but without the cable.
You can stream audio from most any Bluetooth-enabled device, or conduct phone
calls from your Bluetooth-enabled phone. When the battery is exhausted, you can
still listen to your favorite music by plugging in the supplied audio cable or
RemoteTalk cable. The Beats Studio Wireless can be folded for storage in the
supplied hard shell case.
Beats Acoustic Engine: The Beats Studio Wireless features
custom DSP software that is designed for specific music types, such as rock,
hip-hop, pop, electronic, and R&B, to bring out the full musical experience. The
resulting sound is designed to bring you an intimate, personal, and emotional
Adaptive Noise Canceling: The Beats Studio Wireless
headphones have an active noise reduction system called Adaptive Noise Canceling
(ANC). Powered by a rechargeable battery, you can activate ANC to cancel out
external noise by simply pressing and holding the "b" and power buttons without
the cable. You can also turn on/off ANC in wired mode by plugging/unplugging the
cable. You can use ANC when listening to music to eliminate unwanted noise so
you'll hear your music only.
On-board Controls: When in active wireless mode, you can use
the controls on the left earcup to control your music or phone calls. Music
controls include play/pause, and next/previous track.
Phone controls include answer/end a call and volume up/down.
RemoteTalk Cable: The Beats Studio Wireless headphones include
the RemoteTalk control cable with an in-line remote and microphone designed for use with most smartphones, including
iPhone and Android devices. Playback controls for iPod, iPhone, and iPad include
play/pause, next/previous track, fast forward/fast reverse, and volume +/-.
Phone controls for iPhone include answer call, hang up call, decline incoming
call, use call waiting, and use voice command features. Playback and phone
controls for other devices (Android, Blackberry, Windows) are limited to
play/pause, answer/end call, and volume up/down.
Battery: The headphones have a built-in rechargeable battery
which provides approximately 12 hours of talk/music playback time when using
approximately 20 hours when you plug in the cable. The Auto On/Off feature turns
off the headphones when you unplug it from a device. The right earcup has a
5-LED Battery Fuel Gauge to help you keep track of the battery charge level. The
headphones come with a Micro USB cable for charging the battery.
