About the BlackRapid Curve
Never bounce your camera on your chest again
Never bounce your camera on your chest again
The BlackRapid Curve can be worn under or over a jacket.
Once you experience the simplicity and elegance of a BlackRapid camera strap, you'll never, ever want to go back to the old neck or shoulder strap your camera came with again. BlackRapid camera straps are designed to help your cameras hang in a logical location, upside down and down by your hip. Simply screw the FR-3 FastenR screw/washer hand-tight to your camera's tripod mount hole, then use the included ConnectR carabiner that's attached to your strap as a lever to securely tighten the FastnerR. Now you can grab a camera by its gripping surface, glide it up along the strap's surface, and have it ready to shoot in under a second. BlackRapid straps can be worn with backpacks or under a jacket, and the included bumpers quickly slide and snap into place to restrict your camera's movement when you're running, climbing, or otherwise being active.
The Curve is BlackRapid's simplest yet most versatile strap. The ergonomically designed curved shoulder pad is designed to stay put on your left shoulder, so the strap stays optimized for gripping your camera with your right hand. Trick out your Curve strap by adding extra accessory storage with the "Joey" bags, or make it even more reliable and secure with the Brad or Buck modifications.

Features
Overview: The BlackRapid Curve (RS-7) is a simple sling camera strap. The shoulder pad has a slight curve that ergonomically fits over the left shoulder for added comfort. The Curve is compatible with the MOD-series of accessory pockets and supports.
Sling Strap: The sling strap concept makes it easy to carry your camera by your side, and quickly bring it up to the shooting position. When not in use, the camera hangs upside down at your hip. A threaded FastenR screws into the camera's tripod socket, and is held secure with a rubber washer. The locking ConnectR on the sling strap clips onto the camera via the FastenR, allowing it to glide up and down the strap. Two adjustable locking bumpers on the strap will limit the range of the camera's gliding motion.
Materials: The Curve's pad is made of Ballistic Nylon on the top, with a 1/2-inch thick polyurethane foam pad with Knitted mesh. The sling strap is 1" wide and the length can be adjusted to nearly 63". The strap includes a zinc alloy ConnectR (CR-2) and a black nickel-coated stainless steel FastenR (FR-3).
MOD-Compatible: The Curve is equipped with a loop on the pad for adding the Joey 1, Joey 2, and Joey 3 clip-on storage pouches. For large users, the Bert extension strap clips on to give you an additional 15" of length. If you need extra security, the Buck buckle covers help deter would-be thieves from unbuckling the strap and stealing your gear.

Was skeptical at first but after taking some long walks the Black Rapid performs well. No more neck strain and the camera comes up smoothly and is placed nicely at arms reach.
