The Wren V5BT AirPlay wireless speaker system blurs the line between quality audio gear and fine home décor. This stylish retro-looking design features a curved cabinet, trimmed in silver. The wood veneer top and silver speaker grille complete the look of this elegant system.
Available with rosewood veneer (front) or bamboo wood veneer (back).
Exceptional sound
The system features two high-performance 3/4" tweeters for clear highs and two 3" drivers for clean midrange and low tones. A bass port in the rear further reinforces the low frequencies. The V5BT's cabinet is made of MDF to minimize unwanted resonance. And the silicone pad on the bottom acts as a cushion to soak up the cabinet vibrations.
Wren's proprietary Digital Signal Processing circuitry ensures accurate signal decoding and lifelike sound reproduction. The system is powered by a built-in 50-watt Class-D amplifier. You'll experience warm, natural sound, whether playing your music at low or high volume levels.

The V5BT features aptX® audio coding, an advanced form of Bluetooth that allows higher-fidelity sound with compatible Bluetooth devices. The system is backwards-compatible with earlier forms of Bluetooth, too. So you can wirelessly stream music from your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or other portable and still enjoy outstanding sound.

Features
High Performance Drivers & Amplifier: The Wren V5BT employs two 3" long-throw drivers with 4-layer voice coils to handle big power while dissipating heat. High frequencies are rendered smooth and natural by a pair of edge-driven, wide dispersion 0.75" soft dome tweeters optimally positioned on the front baffle to create a wide, realistic soundstage. The drivers are powered by Intersil's D2 Audio DSP-controlled 25 watts x 2 channel digital amplifier. DSP optimization allows you to play your music louder with more bass and less distortion.
Solid Anti-Resonance Bass Reflex Enclosure: The Wren V5BT is made from real wood, with natural bamboo or rosewood finishes instead of painted plastic. Beneath the beautiful bamboo or rosewood veneer is half-inch laminated MDF board that eliminates resonance and coloration. A precisely tuned acoustic rear-firing port extends the low end of the driver to provide power bass performance. The underside of the Wren V5BT is covered with a 4mm low durometer silicone pad that stabilizes the chassis and absorbs cabinet vibration. Wren's unique internal diamond-matrix grille design protects the drivers without distorting the sound.
Bluetooth Audio Streaming (A2DP): The Wren V5BT supports Bluetooth A2DP which allows you to wirelessly stream audio from your Bluetooth-enabled Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad, Android smartphone/tablet, Blackberry, or laptop/computer. You'll be able to stream stored music or music apps from your Bluetooth-enabled device. You will continue to navigate your music and view song/artist information from your Bluetooth-enabled device.
- CSR aptX: aptX works within Bluetooth to deliver CD-quality audio over a Bluetooth wireless connection. If your Bluetooth-enabled source device is equipped with aptX, the Wren V5BT will automatically detect the aptX-equipped receiving device. If your source device does not have aptX, the V5BT will default to standard Bluetooth audio.
- Simple Pairing: A single button press pairs your Bluetooth-enabled device with the Wren V5BT. The unit can be paired with up to 6 devices (only one can be used at a time). Once paired, the Wren V5BT will automatically re-connect to the last device used when in wireless range (33').
Aux Input: A 3.5mm auxiliary input lets you connect and play music from other audio sources, such as a portable CD player or MP3 player with an audio output or headphone output jack.
USB Charging Port: The Wren V5BT features a USB (type-A) port used to charge your smartphone or other USB-enabled portable audio device. Simply use the cable that came with your device to connect the V5BT's USB port. This USB port does not support audio playback.
Simple Controls: The Wren V5BT provides easy-to-use power, volume, and source buttons on the side-panel of the system. Music navigation and song/artist information will need to be done through your Bluetooth-enabled mobile device.
External AC Power Supply: The Wren V5BT operates off of standard household current using the supplied AC power adapter and cord.

I have always thought that BOSE made the best sound products. Boy, was I wrong! The sound that the WREN Bluetook Speaker System delivers is just as good if not better than BOSE and at a fraction of the cost.
