Features
Overview: The Wet Sounds WW-Big Block Combo is a marine-rated, high-power ANL fuse holder and power distribution block, designed for marine and car audio. With a Fusion Nickel finish, the WW-Big Block Combo gives you clean, full power transfer, and protection from corrosion caused by harsh marine environments.
Description: The WW-Big Block Combo is designed for splitting a power signal with one or two power wire inputs to two, three, or four outputs. It can also be used as a grounding block for multiple amplifiers, combining individual ground wires into one. The Big Block Combo will accept up to two ANL fuses or four Mini-ANL fuses. Various jumper bars are provided for non-fused configurations.
Multiple Configurations: The WW-Big Block Combo consists of two solid input conductors and four solid output conductors. Each of the conductors are isolated from one another. The two inputs will accept up to 1/0-gauge power wire. Using the provided reducers, you can uses 4-gauge wire. The four outputs will accept up to 4-gauge wire, or 8-gauge, when you use the provided reducers. Set screws are used to secure the wires, requiring 4mm (outputs) and 5mm (inputs) Allen wrenches. Nickel-plated jumpers are supplied to let you set up the distribution block to suit many different multi-amp combinations. These jumpers allow you to configure the distribution of power or ground from one or two inputs to one, two, three, or four outputs.
- Fuses: Fuses should be installed on each power wire that runs to an amplifier. One or two ANL fuses can be installed, or up to four Mini-ANL fuses. The ANL fuses are secured with bolts requiring a 5mm Allen wrench or 12mm hex wrench or socket. Mini-ANL fuses can be used instead of ANL fuses, if desired. A 4mm Allen wrench is required to secure the fuses.
- Jumpers: A number of jumpers are provided to tie together two conductors where fuses are not needed or desired. The large jumper (2.5" long) can combine the two inputs. Two smaller jumpers (1.25" long) can tie together two of the outputs. There are two 4-way jumpers which can each bridge one input to two outputs.
Mounting: Three countersunk holes are provided in the center for mounting the holder to a flat surface, using screws or wire ties. Once mounted, you can protect the fuses with the provided plastic terminal cover.
