Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Very solid, good packaging. Will most likely purchase additional stands as the Sonos family members grows.

Pros: Very stable and easy to move around. Takes about 1 minute to assembly with the supplied tools. Come with spikes and rubber grommets for hard wood floors.

Cons: Kinda costly, but it's worth it.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This stand works perfectly. It fits the speaker, and looks nice. It is a bit of trouble to thread the cord through the pole, but once accomplished works well to hide the cord.

Looks great

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

As soon as I bough the Play:bar it was inevitable that I would complete the set with a couple of surround speakers. As soon as the Play:1s were released I ordered a couple. The set up sounded great but the speakers were balanced on top of stacked books - not ideal! I'd been keeping an eye out for a set of stands for the Play:1s and bough these as soon as I saw them. They're well made, look great and keep the speakers at the ideal height. I am very satisfied.

Pros: Well made Look great

Cons: A little expensive, but you get what you pay for :)

Customer Q&A

1 question already asked

depends on the speaker and speaker wire attachment config. the speaker housing is attached to an L shaped brace/bracket at the back via a bolt that comes with the stand that fits the Sonos female screw atttachment which allows for tightening the speaker to the brace. I think the stand could also hold the larger sonos 3 speaker and that's why there's some height on brace for the bolt to travel up and down - to adjust for height of the speaker being attached. So if your speaker can be mouunted to a bracket, it makes sense that this could possibly workfor you. would have to know the spec on your speaker to be sure. assuming you have a speaker wire to deal with, it could travel up the pole, as the electric wire does for the sonos, exiting the top for attachment to your speaker terminals. recommend you find the measurements of the bracket and compare to what you need for our speaker to be sure. really, it looks like the stand is custom built for sonos speaker. [ Jack  Dec 26, 2014 ]
Michael, I am not sure if you can use these speaker stands for other speakers. Maybe the manufacturer can tell you. I like this stand for my son"s though. [ Rochelle  Dec 26, 2014 ]
While many satellite-type speakers have a threaded receptacle for wall mounting via a bracket, unless the distance from that receptacle to the bottom of the speaker is the same as on the Play 1's, the stands likely won't work, at least without fashioning some type of adapter bracket. This is because the stand has a bottom platform that the Play 1 sits on, and the slot that the bolt goes through on its way to the threaded receptacle on the speaker only provides for a sleight amount of adjustability. If you can measure or otherwise determine the location of the threaded receptacle relative to the bottom edge of the speakers you want to use, you could contact Flexson and they could tell you definitively. I will say that from my experience these stands are a very quality product. I hope this helps. [ Jay  Dec 24, 2014 ]
I use them for surround speakers I believe they are made for Sonos only. [ Byron  Dec 24, 2014 ]
It might work; the stand is made with a bracket which holds the speaker with a short bolt. However, there is very little vertical adjustment, so the new speaker would need to use the same mounting hole spacing. The bracket has a cutout for the Ethernet cable jack on the speaker, and a cutout for the AC cable. Bottom line is it might work, but probably not ideal. [ David  Dec 24, 2014 ]
