Match the Barlow lens with eyepieces you already have to double the magnification.

Double your viewing power

The X-Cel LX 2X Barlow lens is a perfect way to double the magnification of eyepieces you already have. Just screw the Barlow lens into your telescope's standard eyepiece mount, then slide your eyepiece into the top of the Barlow lens. A brass compression ring with thumbscrew holds the eyepiece in place, turning the entire assembly into a more powerful eyepiece for your telescope. Premium apochromatic optics yield sharp, high-contrast images of the moon, nearby planets and other celestial phenomena.

Features

Overview: The Celestron X-Cel LX 2x Barlow lens doubles the magnification of any 1.25" eyepiece. It has a rubber grip to help keep your hands securely on the barrel and avoid accidental drops.

Description: The X-Cel LX 2x inserts between the eyepiece and the telescope and doubles the magnification of all of your 1.25" eyepieces. The brass compression ring just inside the top of the X-Cel Barlow holds the eyepiece firmly when you turn the thumbscrew, but will not scratch the eyepiece barrel like the thumbscrew tip would. It is fully multi-coated for high contrast, sharp images. It has inside threads that are compatible with 1.25" filters, allowing you to change eyepieces without having to remove and re-attach any filter from the eyepiece.
