A plug-and-play solution for home, sports bar, or retail setups, the WyreStorm MX-0402 switcher lets you to connect four different HDMI sources to two separate HDMI-equipped displays. You can hook up sources such as a cable box, Apple TV®, Blu-ray player or video game system and display them on two screens simultaneously. The MX-0402 supports video formats up to 1080p, including 3D content. Choose your connected source for each display via the front-panel controls or the supplied remote. You can also integrate the MX-0402 with your existing universal remote.

HDMI Matrix Switcher (4 inputs/2 outputs): The WyreStorm Express MX0402(v2) is a simple yet effective 4 input to 2 output Ultra HD matrix switcher designed for home or small-scale retail applications. The 4x2 matrix switch allows up to four HDMI video sources to be connected into the one switch and then distribute 4K Ultra HD video and HD multichannel audio simultaneously to up two displays over high-speed HDMI cables.

HDMI 1.4: The WyreStorm MX0402(v2)'s HDMI inputs/outputs are version 1.4 and support most standard-definition, high-definition, and Ultra HD video formats up to 4K @ 30Hz. The MX0402(v2) is also supports multi-channel audio up to 7.1ch, like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.

Analog Audio Output: The WyreStorm MX0402(v2) is also fitted with a analog stereo 3.5mm output which mirrors the audio from the HDMI Output 2.

Controls: The WyreStorm Express MX0402(v2) offers front-panel and IR remote control.

AC Power Adapter: The WyreStorm Express MX0402(v2) operates off of standard household AC current using the supplied external AC power adapter.

will this allow watching separate things on the 2 tv?

Yes. You can send any one of your 4 independent HDMI inputs to 2 separate HDMI capable TVs or the same input to both TVs. Works great! The only peculiarity is if you are watching one TV and then the second TV is turned on there is a momentary stop in the signal to the first TV and then both will be on. Our norm is to push the same signal to both TVs since they are in adjacent rooms (great room and kitchen).

Yes...example: you can watch directv on one tv while watching Apple TV on the other. Works great!

How well do the analog RCA outputs work? Is the audio properly synced with the video? How is the sound quality? Is it clear or is there humming or any noise?
