About the Audiofrog G10D4
A new name in bass
Audiofrog brings you powerful, versatile subs that are designed to handle today's high-powered amplifiers. Their G Series subs feature a treated paper cone with a rubber surround for long life and high performance, housed in a stamped steel, vented basket for rigidity and durability. Audiofrog's designers focused on creating a tough, reliable sub by by building extra venting into the basket to help cool the voice coils. The pole piece and back plate are also polished and extended to achieve magnetic symmetry above and below the gap. Translation? You'll hear less distortion when you're turning up the bass..
600 watts power handling
The G10D4 10" subwoofer handles up to 600 watts RMS, while the two 4-ohm voice coils give you the option of running it at 8 ohms for multi-sub setups or at 2 ohms to maximize your amp's power output. And Audiofrog designed this sub to be equally comfortable in a sealed or a ported enclosure. If you're looking for performance, get acquainted with Audiofrog.

Product Research
Features
Dual Voice Coils: This woofer features two 4Ω voice coils, allowing impedance flexibility. When the voice coils are wired in parallel, the woofer presents a 2Ω load. When the voice coils are wired in series, the woofer presents an 8Ω load.
Binding Posts: The binding post wire terminals will accept pin connectors, spade lugs, single banana plugs, and bare wire up to 8-gauge. The binding posts are spaced too far apart to accept standard dual banana plugs (3/4").
Sealed Box Volume: The recommended sealed box volume range is from 0.5 ft³ to 0.75 ft³, with 0.6 ft³ being the ideal size. A sealed enclosure design gives the smoothest response with increased energy at the lowest frequencies.
Ported Box Volume: The recommended ported box volume range is from 0.85 ft³ to 1.75 ft³. The ideal size is 1.0 ft³, for which both slot and tube style port measurements are given; both result in a tuning frequency of 33 Hz:
- Slot: 11" x 1" opening, 17.5" long
- Tube: 3" diameter x 13" long
Power Handling: Audiofrog lists two RMS power figures in the manual; 250 watts RMS in the technical specifications section and 100-600 watts RMS in the recommendations section. We've listed the recommended range in the specs table.
