About the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Form 2i
The art of sound
The art of sound
Lots of headphones can claim to be works of art. But few can back it up like the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Form 2i. These headphones are on permanent display in New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. That says more about the cool, sleek design of these headphones than I could. I'm better off describing the clear, detailed sound these headphones offer. The driver enclosures employ a semi-open design, which offers spacious sound that's much bigger than you'd expect from such compact headphones. Highs are crisp and clean, midrange and vocals are up-front and warm, and the tight bass is never over-accentuated. The combination of sound, style, and comfort makes the Form 2i headphones a great bargain.
Mobile-friendly, with controls for your iPhone®
With such a lightweight design, the Beoplay Form 2i headphones are ideal for mobile listening. If you have an Apple device, you can control it with the in-line remote. It offers volume and track control for your iPhone, iPad®, or iPod®, so you can skip songs, play and pause the music, and kick the volume up a notch with the press of a button. There's also a tiny built-in microphone for taking calls while your iPhone remains in your pocket or bag.

Features
Overview: The Bang & Olufsen (B&O) Form 2i is a sleek, lightweight on-ear headphone with high-performance sound. The original Form 2 was designed by Steve McGugan in 1983, and gained instant critical success in 1985 when it hit the streets. In 1992, the Form 2 became a part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. This 21st-century update by B&O Play features an in-line remote and microphone that is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Design: The B&O Play Form 2i weighs only 3 ounces, and is comfortable to wear for hours. The dynamic, semi-open design delivers a well-defined soundstage with accurate highs, a focused middle, and good, solid bass that's not over-emphasized. You'll hear your music the way the artists intended it.
Cable: The Form 2i has a 46" cord that attaches on 2 sides, and terminates into a 3.5mm plug. On the left side is an in-line 3-button remote and microphone. The controls are compatible with Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The outer buttons control Volume Up and Volume Down. The center button controls various music playback and phone call commands.
