Features
Overview: The Leica Visoflex is an accessory electronic viewfinder for the Leica T Camera System. It attaches to the hot shoe on top of the camera, and provides an eye-level look at the subject as seen through the lens. In addition, the Visoflex has an integrated GPS receiver which can add location information to your photo files. The Visoflex comes with a terminal protective cover, a cloth drawstring bag and a leather storage case.
Color LCD: The Visoflex features a color LCD viewfinder with approximately 2.36 megapixel resolution. It has approximately 1.1x magnification with the eyepiece setting at -1 dpt (relative to the long side of the Leica T format). Eye spacing is approximately 17mm. The viewfinder tilts up to 90° to let you frame your photos from low angles.
Eye Sensor: A sensor in the viewfinder can detect when you bring the camera up to your eye and turns off the camera's LCD monitor. When you take the camera away from your eye, the monitor display turns back on.
Diopter: The built-in diopter dial lets you adjust the viewfinder to your own vision, with or without eyeglasses. The diopter adjustment range is -3 to +1 dpt.
GPS Receiver: The Visoflex's integrated GPS receiver can pickup signals from overhead Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites. The positioning accuracy increases relative to the number of satellites from which signals are received. The GPS data can only be received when the camera is outside with a clear view of the sky. Location information, including latitude, longitude, and altitude, can be added to the EXIF header of the picture files.
