Overview: The Samsung SDC-9442DCN is a weatherproof Full HD dome camera for home surveillance and monitoring. It is designed for use with Samsung Full HD Video Security Systems, including the SDH-C7404 and SDH-C7508. The camera weighs 7.6 ounces.

Camera: The camera has a 3-1/2" diameter base that can be attached to a wall or ceiling via 3 screws (screws and wall anchors are included). You can adjust the monitoring direction of the camera by rotating (0° to 350°), tilting (0° to 70°), and panning (-15° to +15°) the camera. Included with the camera is a 60-foot length of power/signal cable with BNC and DC power barrel connectors at each end. Extensions can be added up to a maximum cable length of 984 feet (300 meters). Camera dimensions are: Base Diameter=3.54" Height=2.55".

Lens: This Full HD dome camera has a 4mm lens with a angular field of view of 72.2° (Horiz.) / 52.9° (Vert.) / 94.3° (Diag.). It has a maximum aperture of F2.1.

Infrared LEDs: The built-in infrared LEDs enhance the available light in dark areas up to 82 feet (25 meters) away to give you more image detail in extreme low light conditions. The camera's day/night filter gives you vivid color in the daytime and detailed black and white at night. The camera's 24 infrared LEDs are automatically activated when light conditions are low. Minimum illumination is 0 Lux with IR LEDs.

Image Sensor: The camera has a 1/2.9" 2M CMOS image sensor with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080p.

Weatherproof: The SDC-9442DCN carries an IP66 rating, making it perfect to use outdoors. The camera is durable and tested for its resistance to dust, wind, and water. The IP66 weatherproof rating means that has been tested against strong jets of water, but it cannot be completely submerged under water. The camera can also operate in temperature extremes of +14°F to +122°F, with less than 90% relative humidity.
