About the Fusion SG-S10W

Add some bass to your boating

Fusion's high-performance SG-S10W subwoofer is a tough, thumping 10" speaker that's made for life on the water. Like every Fusion marine sub, the SG-S10W undergoes rigorous testing to ensure that it's ready to rock, even in the extremes of a marine environment.

You'll get plenty of low-end thump with this sub, which features a poly cone, 60-ounce magnet, and heavy-duty componentry designed to handle up to 250 watts RMS. It's tough, too, with a sealed waterproof front and a stylish white protective grille that will blend right in with most boats.

This water-resistant design complies with ASTM standards for UV stability and salt/fog resistance, so your FUSION sub will pump out potent, accurate bass even after prolonged exposure to the elements. As part of Fusion's True Marine line, the SG-S10W is backed by a 3-year warranty.

Q
WHATS THE MOUNTING DEPTH ?

A
Thanks for your question. The mounting depth is 5.115". That will leave 0.662" of height on the outside. Hope this helps.

Q
Does it have a built in amp?

A
No built in amp. I believe that I am only sending 150 watts to the sub and it rattles all of my pop up dock cleats.

A
No

Q
Is it 250W RMS continuous or max?
stephen  May 18, 2016
1 answer
A
250 watts is the RMS power handling . Not that it matters (as there is no standard of measurement for "Max" or "Peak" ratings) but the "Max" is 450 watts. You will find this information under the "Product Highlights" section on the subwoofer's main webpage. I hope that helps! My Bio: http://www.crutchfield.com/Support/Bio.aspx?bio=5
