Q
Anyone using Centurylink DSL? I have tried other extendors with no success.

We don't have the records to know if any of our customers have used our WiFi extenders with your provider. I do know that there are other ways to create a strong WiFi field in and around your home. I recommend contacting an advisor on 1-800-324-9695 to discuss your setup and what you have tried to get a personal recommendation on a solution that can work

The best way to view this product is like a wireless Ethernet cable. This would be used to bridge a gap between either a computer or router and the modem. This device is not a WiFi extender

Q
Can I use this to run a stereo signal by using the Ethernet cable wires individually out to the avr and speakers?
chris  May 10, 2020

A
Yes. I ran a ethernet cable to the back of avr. It works well, better then wireless, no signal loss.
anthony v  May 10, 2020
A
Probably not. Answer would be yes if signal was from source to amp, ie NAS to amplifier. But amplifier to speakers the wires in cat 5/6 cable aren't substantial enough even without conversion to power and back. You will need 2 or 4 conductor speaker wire to achieve this.

We have a shop about 200 feet from the house, so it has its own service entrance, but all the power comes from the same meter. Will this send a signal to the shop?

I believe so as long as it's on the same line. However, the ping (latency) might be pretty bad since it's so far away.

I am sorry I can't. I principle,I should think, it should work, but my worry would be how much interference you will have.

Q
From the description, there are two modules included with the purchase. I assume that I would use one at my router/switch and the other at the remote location. If I want another remote location, can I purchase one additional module or are they only sold in pairs?

I forwarded your question to an Advisor and they responded with the following: These units are only sold in pairs. If you would like to discuss further you can contact an Advisor directly by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat.
