Leave the camera off or in standby mode — it comes to life instantly with the press of a single record button, and begins to document any situation in progress. Choose voice activation mode, and you won't even have to press the button — the camera will come on automatically when someone starts speaking. It also keeps a 30-second buffer loop running, so you can even capture much of what happens before you remember to press the button. Overview: The PatrolEyes SC-IRM is a small body-worn High Definition video recorder, designed for use by law enforcement. It records in Full HD 1080p onto an inserted microSD memory card (up to 32 GB). The camera also has a Night Vision mode, and voice activation. The SC-IRM comes with several clip-on and vehicle mounts, and a USB cable.

Compact Size: This Mini 1080p Infrared Body Camera is very compact in size. At only 1" wide x 2-1/4" high, and weighing 2.1 ounces, the camera can be worn on a shirt or belt with the included clip-on or belt mounts. The package also includes a magnetic mount and a dash mount for installing the camera in your vehicle.

Camera: The SC-IRM's lens has a 90° angle of view. You can shoot video in AVI Motion JPEG format at 1920 x 1080p (30 fps). The camera will record video continuously for up to 120 minutes. The camera can also record still photos at 12 MP (4032 x 3024 pixels) one at a time.

microSD Memory Cards: The Mini 1080p Infrared Body Camera has a slot for microSD memory cards. One hour of footage shot at 1080p takes up approximately 5 GB of storage. No microSD cards are included with the camera.

Night Vision: The SC-IRM is equipped with five high intensity (940NM) infrared LEDs. These IR LEDs allow you to record video up to 30 feet with visible face detection. The video shot in Night Mode is monochrome. The Night Vision mode can be turned on (or off) by holding down the record button for 3 seconds.

Optional Time/Date Stamps: You can program the microSD card with an optional time/date stamp. With the time/date stamp enabled, the video will indicate the year, month, day, hour, minute, and second. You will need to connect the camera to your computer via USB, or remove the microSD card and use a card reader to program the time/date stamp.

Voice Activation Option (VXO): The SC-IRM has a Voice Activated Option (VXO) that will automatically start recording when the camera detects voices or noises above 60dB. After three minutes, without any detected voices, the camera will stop recording.

Rechargeable Battery: The camera is powered by a Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery. A fully charged battery provides up to 2 hours of recording time. The battery can be charged via USB (cable included).

Compatibility: The SC-IRM is compatible with operating systems from Windows ME to Windows 10, as well as Mac OS and Linux. Recorded files can be played back with most mainstream audio and video playback software.
