Features

Dual Voice Coils: This woofer features dual 4Ω voice coils, offering wiring flexibility. When the voice coils are wired in parallel, the woofer presents a 2Ω load. When the voice coils are wired in series, the woofer presents an 8Ω load.

Sealed Enclosures: Sealed enclosures provide the most control over a woofer and provide accurate sonic reproduction, making them suitable to all types of music. Memphis Audio recommends a sealed enclosure volume of 1.25 ft³, yielding a -3 dB point of 40 Hz.

Vented Enclosures: Vented (or ported) enclosures typically provide better overall efficiency than sealed so they are suitable for use with smaller amplifiers, giving you more bass output from less power. Memphis Audio recommends a ported enclosure volume of 2.09 ft³ with a 12-1/2" x 2" x 20-3/4" slot port, yielding a tuning frequency of 37 Hz and a -3 dB point of 33 Hz.
