About the Inland Universal TV Stand

Ralph Graves
We really like how this universal TV stand can solve so many little hitches that our customers encounter from time to time. Need a way to elevate your TV, so your new sound bar doesn't block the screen? This'll take care of that. Want to relocate your wall-mounted TV to an entertainment cabinet, long after the TV's base has broken or gone missing? This mount makes a great replacement. And it's a great choice if you can't — or don't want to — drill into a wall.

Q
How much clearance between bottom of tv and base of stand? I need room for a 9" tall center speaker.

I have an older Sony Bravia, on this stand. There is only 4 inches of clearance. I have the stand configured as in the pic. You might need to go to a wall mount.

There is 8.5 inches the way mine is set up
sharon  Jan 22, 2018

Q
Looks tippy. I have to put it on an armoir because I can't be sureof mounting on sheet rock. It will get a 32 or 40" Vizio on it. Is this really stable?

I have a 50 inch TV on it and haven't had any trouble at all. It's sturdier than it looks. I wouldn't be worried about it tipping forward or backward if you are opening drawers on the armoir.

We have ours on top of a freestanding fireplace, and holds a 48" flatscreen. It's a lot sturdier than I anticipated...if your worried about safety with this stand, do not! I would recommend it.

This is a very stable stand. I have a 55" Samsung on mine. Hope this helps! Z

Not tippy at all. I have my 40+ Sony on mine,on my dresser.

We have 42" tv on it and it is top-heavy and the tv wants to tip forward. We put a block between base of tv and the base arm in the back and it sits fine. I wouldnt trust it if you have kids or dogs bumping the furniture.

This is very stable, I have a 52 inch on it. It is a very sturdy stand, would buy again

I have a 32" Samsung on mine and never even considered it to be tippy (stands on a dresser/console). The base is pretty heavy glass and the weight of the TV is centered over it.

I had a 65 lb 46" sharp AQUOS on it. I got it because it just fit our mantle depth and the Sharp mount was too deep. It leaned forward very slightly but was stable.
