Made for demanding gear

Uncompromising quality

Every aspect of the HF-4 stand is designed to eliminate performance-robbing vibration. Each shelf is made of solid MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) to provide an inert base for your component. Four polished steel pillars support each shelf, resting on solid steel decoupling spikes that minimize contact with the shelf below it. The pillars feature rubber O-rings, which act like pistons to further absorb vibration.

Spacious design

The shelves are generously proportioned to accommodate oversized audio gear. And each shelf can support up to 175 lbs., ideal for beefy high-performance components. And the rounded, minimalist styling of the HF-4 makes the stand a welcome addition to your listening room.

Product Research

Features

Solidsteel Philosophy: Solidsteel's philosophy is that there should be no compromise in the build quality or benefits to sonic performance, and that the products should reflect the Italian "style" of design with the use of excellent materials, clean lines, well-considered utilization of space, and attention to detail.

Hyperspike HF Series: This is the Hyperspike Vibration Free System, designed by Solidsteel. The structural concept of the Hyperspike HF Series is functional, simple in design and effective. It consists of MDF shelves that are very solid mechanically with an elegant lacquer finish. The Hyperspke HF series audio racks consist of a quadrangular design, noticeably rounded without corners forming a smooth, graceful profile that gives continuity to its aesthetic and practical features.

4-Shelf Audio Rack: The Solidsteel HF-4 audio rack features 4 fixed shelves. The overall height of the rack and the distance between each shelf have been carefully calculated to achieve an optimum balance of acoustics and aesthetics.

  • Top Shelf: The top shelf measures 25.4375" (w) x 39.8125" (h) x 22.125" (d), and can support up to 175 lbs.
  • 2 Middle Shelves: The two middle shelves measure 21.125" (w) x 8.125" (h) x 22.125" (d), and can support up to 175 lbs each.
  • Bottom Shelf: The bottom shelf measures 21.125" (w) x 12" (h) x 22.125" (d), and can support up to 175 lbs.

4-Pillar Design: The four pillar design is geometrically positioned to give maximum support and minimum physical contact with the surrounding environment. The rack stems are made of high quality solid steel rods, polished by a state of the art process giving a smooth and shimmering finish. In order to provide the necessary modular structure, the frames comprise a central segment of variable length to meet diverse requirements, to which are attached the other elements that make up the rest of the support mechanism. Adding to the technical composition are securing screws, insulating spikes (very strong, beautifully welded, adjustable, strong locking with a clamping screw) and decoupling pads, also made of solid steel. Amongst the elements to be assembled are rubber o-rings, similar to a piston ring with the purpose of improving the fit while reducing the transmission of mechanical energy.

Polished Steel & MDF Construction: The 4-shelf audio rack features a polished steel, 4 pillar structure with shelves made of 1.2" MDF (medium density fiberboard). The benefits of MDF include a much higher damping factor and superior rigidity over time.

Decoupling Spikes: To minimize resonances, each shelf of the HF-4 is supported on, and therefore isolated from, the frame by decoupling spikes which are positioned to precisely discharge unwanted energies into the chassis. All spurious mechanical energies are then discharged into the ground through the decoupling spike feet at the point where the rack legs contact the floor.
