Helix builds their low-profile Blue Series speakers to fit into more factory speaker locations while maintaining their high standards for sound quality. Helix earned its reputation by paying attention to the details, and these speakers really uphold the family name.

The Blue Series B57X 5"x7" speakers make the most out of the power they're given, so they'll sound great paired up to an aftermarket car stereo. But they can handle up to 40 watts RMS of real-world power, so hook them up with an external amplifier if you really want to bring them to life. The added power gets you better bass and more accurate stereo separation, and your ears will thank you for the extra juice.

Why replace your car's original speakers?

The speakers that originally came in your car were made from inexpensive materials, designed to create acceptable sound at the lowest possible cost to the manufacturer. If you love music, you deserve better. Name-brand aftermarket speakers deliver fuller, richer sound with considerably more detail and nuance, and they're capable of playing louder and cleaner than factory speakers. Connect new speakers to your factory radio and you'll get the best possible sound from your dealer-equipped system. Pair them up with a new car stereo for a level of enjoyment that can rival a high-fidelity home audio experience.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

After blowing one of my more expensive kicker speakers the Crutchfield rep suggested this brand. They were less expensive and I had never heard of them but their quality of build and sound surpassed my expectations. They are being powered by an Alpine head unit

Pros: Quality construction great sound

Cons: None yet

all around speakers

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these speakers solely relying on the Crutchfield teams opinion. Turns out hey they were right. Lol. This speaker us inexpensive, it is very very versatile. It handles the club music very well. Listen this isn't a competition speaker. But it is a very well made Handle all around everything speaker. We set it up on a buddy's factor first. Sound im proved dramatically. So now he will be buying some. I ordered the for my 2001 F250 SD. I am not running anything special . I did install a aftermarket stereo. KENWOOD KDC-BT758HD I believe it is. Now listen they sounded great. No you cannot crank only bass and turn it all the way up. But they sounded even better with the aftermarket. They handle some bass well. They hit highs well and mids. And yes if you go to loud to hard it does start to get grainy. But I had to turn my stereo up almost all the way.

Pros: Cheap, loud great little speaker. Very well built and a great handle all speaker

Cons: None.

Striking Clarity

Written By PatrickM, Plano, TX on Monday, July 15, 2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers were recommended to me by Crutchfield as replacements for my factory speakers. I installed a pair in front and left the factory speakers in the rear, to get an idea of the difference, running somewhere around 40W per channel. I can only call the difference striking. These speakers present with amazing clarity across the response range - it's almost like listening thru good headphones in that respect. Instruments will jump out at you. The bass response is pretty impressive - the woofers will actually move air when cranked. As far as distortion, you should have no problem cranking these to extreme levels and not hear any distortion.

Pros: Clarity, presence, power

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers fit great and sound awesome in my 2013 Ford F150. No more muddy sound from the cheap factory speakers. Everything sounds crisp and clear. They handle the bass quite well and the highs are not tinny . Overall, I am very pleased, not only with these speakers, but with Crutchfield sales and tech support. Kudos to Nancy for recommending these great speakers.

Pros: 2 year warranty Quality construction Awesome specs and sound

Cons: None that I could find
