Enclosed Subwoofers 101

An enclosed subwoofer is a box with a subwoofer already installed. The advantage to buying an enclosed sub is that the manufacturer made the sub, then designed and built the box as a perfect match, so you'll get the best possible performance. Every enclosed sub has a maximum RMS power handling rating, so pair it with an amp with a similar RMS power rating to get the best performance.

Considering a Subwoofer and an Amp Can be quite a Challenge. This Sub Woofer Plugs directly into the Match PP 82DSP amp using Molex plugs which make the install simple and doesn't need to have an additional amp to get some awesome sound from The DSP. No wire cutting anywhere. I bought the unit on sale so it was a good value for my system.

Pros: Molex Plug and Play.

Cons: Molex Plug and Play kind of a hassle if one were to hookup to a Mono amp if proper instructions aren't available.
