About the Rydeen MINy HD
Reversing in HD
Reversing in HD
Rydeen's MINy HD rear-view camera puts picture quality first, giving you 580 TV lines for a crisper image than most cameras. Plus, you'll get the most reliable features of the Rydeen line: compact size, universal mounting, a 120-degree reverse view, selectable parking lines, and more.
Installation
Rydeen supplies plenty of video cable for you to connect the MINy HD to your video receiver in your dash. However, the MINy is a direct fit with Rydeen's DG240 wireless video kit (not included), which gives you the option of sending a video signal from the camera to your in-dash receiver or monitor wirelessly.
Note: A rear-view camera provides an additional view when reversing your vehicle. It is intended to be used in conjuction with your rear- and side-view mirrors to give a fuller picture of what's behind you. It is not intended as a replacement for your mirrors.

Features
Rear-View Camera: The Rydeen MINy HD rear-view camera can be installed in a variety of vehicles with an aftermarket in-dash multimedia or navigation receiver installed. Your aftermarket receiver must feature an integrated video monitor and a composite video camera input. Now you'll be able to view what's behind you on your in-dash receiver's video monitor when you put your vehicle in reverse.
Note: A rear-view camera is meant as a back-up aid only; never solely rely on a rear-view camera when backing-up. In addition to using the rear-view camera, always look behind you to make sure everything is clear when backing up your vehicle.
HD CMOS Sensor: The Rydeen MINy HD rear-view camera features an HD CMOS image sensor that features an effective pixel count of 728 x 488 and offers a resolution of 580 TV lines. It has 120° (horizontal) x 105° (vertical) viewing angle.
NightVision Technology: The Rydeen MINy HD rear-view camera's HD CMOS image sensor employs NightVision Technology for a minimum illumination rating of 0.1 Lux.
Normal or Mirror Image: The Rydeen MINy HD rear-view camera provides either a mirror or normal image. By default, the camera will display a mirror image. You can connect the camera's two white wires together to get a reverse image.
Park Guidance Lines: The rear-view camera provides parking guidance lines on the screen of your vehicle's in-dash aftermarket monitor. These parking lines are there to assist you when backing up into a parking space. There are two vertical lines which help you judge the left and right edges of the parking space and your vehicle. There are also four color-coded horizontal lines that are used to distinguish how close you are getting to the end of the parking spot.
Reverse Power Output: The Rydeen MINy HD will automatically send video signal when you place your vehicle in reverse gear.
Waterproof Housing: The Rydeen MINy HD rear-view camera features a IP67/IP68 waterproof housing constructed of ABS.
Mounting Bracket: The rear-view camera's mounting bracket can be mounted using either the included double-sided adhesive tape or with sheet-metal screws (not supplied). It can me mounted from the bottom or from the front. Once the camera and mounting bracket are installed, you can adjust the angle of the camera from 0° to 90°.
Power & Signal Connections: The rear-view camera features an attached 23.5' composite video cable and 58" power/ground wires. The 23.5' composite video cable plugs into the composite rear-view camera input of your aftermarket head unit, while the 58" power/ground wires hardwire to power and ground of your vehicle. There is also a 7" bare-wire lead off of the composite video cable which hardwires to your vehicle's reverse gear circuit.
